This condo is part of Lake Village (Nevada), a private complex of similar properties. The California border, Heavenly Ski Resort, Edgewood Golf, five casinos and Nevada Beach are all within a mile. There are dozens of restaurants and three malls nearby yet the complex itself is quiet and private. The village has an outdoor private pool, tennis courts, a clubhouse, and saunas - all free for my guests. The village BBQs by the pool are $5.
I employ a local property manager and a dedicated cleaning crew. The condo will be made up when you arrive and cleaned after departure. There are NO surcharges from my manager, cleaning staff or hot tub maintenance technician.

Other Things to Note
In my experience, Airbnb members are the best guests in the vacation rental business!
It is not my intent to create a lengthy legal document here. There are some simple rules I ask guests to follow for their safety, for protection of property and for the rights of others in the community. After booking, you'll download a confirmation package detailing the following items. I'll ask you to sign and return a one-page Occupancy Agreement acknowledging those rules.
1. No pets.
2. No smoking inside.
3. Vehicles must be registered in the village on arrival. Vehicles must be parked in the assigned spot(s) near the condo.
4. Garbage must be placed in the bear-proof container provided.
5. Occupancy limits are enforced by the local county. Please do not exceed the number listed here.
6. Rules and suggestions for using the hot tub are in the confirmation package.
7. The village Homeowners Association has a series of rules covering excess noise, fireworks, internal village roads, use of the community facilities at the clubhouse, etc. These are also copied in the confirmation package.
And the most important rule of all: HAVE FUN!
Rob was extremely easy to work with, he always replied within a day and his instructions were ways clear. The condo was kept very neat and clean. The information packet that he sends out is very helpful and informative about the condo and other activities in Tahoe. It was definitely a pleasure working with him and he made this trip a success.
The place was nice and tidy. The only thing was that the AC didn´t work, so the apartment was extremely warm. The firepit would not turn off, there was no WiFi and there was a larval in one of the towels. Besides, it looked like someone had puked on one of the bedroom walls where the bed was placed.
These are things that made our stay mediocre.

About the Host, Rob
I'm one of the owners of seven rental properties all in the same village at Lake Tahoe. My three partners and I are Canadians and we travel to Tahoe in all seasons of the year. Skiing is our frequent excuse, but we also come to Tahoe for kayaking, hiking, cycling, fishing, festivals and shows. We're been visiting the lake since 1978, renting our Tahoe properties since 1988, and we'd like to add you to our list of repeat guests.
Our long experinece at Tahoe as tourists gives us an opportunity to find, test and recommend local vacation activities. I pass our collective experiences on to you through the .pdf confirmation package which you'll get after booking. It includes maps, recommended do's and don't's plus discounts on items like car rental and lift tickets. After you've been to Tahoe, I'd appreciate hearing from you about additions to this package for our future guests.
My photo was taken by one of the on-mountain photographers at the top of the Sky Chair at Heavenly Ski Resort in January 2013.
I look forward to hosting you and your friends at Tahoe!
