Cosy stone cottage in Trish's back yard. Spotlessly clean and heating available if you need it. 20 metres from a pub. In the hills high above St Ives, the train is the best way to get in to the town as you get great views along the railway line. Dinner at the Water Mill pub was very good and a short drive from the cabin

Trish's place was very cosy and cute. Very close to the local bus that can take you in and out of St Ives. Trish was very approachable and flexible, especially appreciated her lending tools to put our bikes back together. A+ host!

Trisha and her family were very welcoming. The cabin was very cosy, just what we needed for a short stay at a friend's wedding.

An absolutely charming place to stay, in a beautiful setting; with great pubs nearby and fantastic access to St Ives and Penzance. The space was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. Trisha and her family were wonderful, kind hosts as well. And the breakfast provisions were just perfect. A marvellous place; we would be delighted to stay again one day.

My husband Alan and I have lived in this house for over 20 years and raised our three children here in this lovely spot. We're on a B road which has buses to St Ives and Penzance every hour (although not on sundays or after 6pm!) It's a fabulous place to live and an ideal base to explore the moors and unspoilt countryside of West Penwith.
Now that our children are going off travelling then coming back to stay for a while and as we enjoy meeting new people, we enjoy having guests come to stay and helping them to discover this amazing area. We are easy going types who are used to having a housefull!
We both work; I am an educational home visitor for young disabled children three days a week and a jewellery designer and maker in my spare time( Alan is a plumber and heating engineer.
The cabin is opposite our house and you are welcome to sit out and enjoy the garden. There is parking available just behind the accommodation.
We have a free-range chicken who likes to sit on our doorstep waiting for crumbs!
There is a sofabed which could accommodate a child (or two small ones, maybe!) for £10 per night extra laundry charge.
There are tea and coffee making facilities and cereal/continental breakfast is provided. On a sunny morning it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquility....
We look forward very much to meeting you!
