Nestled on 70 acres of oceanfront property in Rockport, Maine, the cottages at Oakland Seashore are the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, or some rest and relaxation. Reminiscent of a bygone era, these cottages are simple, comfortable, are provisioned with the essentials, and have the most remarkable ocean views. Quiet, secluded and peaceful are the best words to describe these amazing cottages located right on the water's edge overlooking Penobscot Bay. Get away from it all!

The space
This cottage has a cozy bedroom, separated from the living room, with a full-size bed. The bed comes with comfortable linens, blanket and three plush pillows. The living room has a love seat, lounge chair, dining table and chairs, and a dresser.

This cottage includes a small electric heater and fresh linens. Kitchenettes include dishes, flatware, basic cooking utensils, small refrigerator & freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. We also include a set of towels. Guests should bring their own soaps, shampoos and other bathroom amenities. There is no oven or cook top in this cabin.

Guest access
Guests of our property have access to a private stone beach just steps from your cottage. The two gravel roads that enter the property, Dearborn Lane, are great for a nice walking loop with minimal traffic.

Other things to note
Our oceanfront cottages are rustic with limited amenities. We do offer Wi-fi, but the cottages do not have TV's or telephones. Cellular phone access for US Cellular, and Verizon customers should be adequate. AT&T customers may experience limited service. The great appeal of our property is the premier ocean front location, amazing views, privacy and seclusion from the hustle and bustle, quiet and solitude.
