Diane made my first Airbnb experience unforgettable. Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed every minute staying in Diane's home. It made us indeed felt home away from home. The location is ideal and very convenient for eating-out and taking transportation. As suggested by Diane, we took Vamoosebus, Diane's home is just two blocks from the Vamoosebus stop. It's very easy to find out her location.
The room is big and clean, ideal for two. Everything shows Diane's consideration and care for her visitors. We are impressed by her carefulness and kindness to us. She is just like a Grandmom or Mom who cares about you very much. She called us to check our safety when we were still out during late night. She offers quite a few choices for breakfast, delicious and healthy.
Her apartment is just one block away to the famous bookstore: Bernes and Nobles. You can ask for the Bookstore, then it is easy to get to her place. Alternatively, there is a starbucks at the corner of the Bestheda Ave, her building is almost next to Starbucks.
It's about 5 minutes walk from her place to the Bethesda Metro Station (Red Line).
Overall, I recommend Diane's apartment to shot-time visitors in DC.
My stay with Diana was great as usual. This is the place to stay when in Bethesda. Diana is very generous, kind, and helpful. Here home is always very clean and quiet. If you have forgotten something she has what you need.
Bethesda is a destination in itself.
Food, shopping and fun.
I will see you in October.
Thanks for this stay.
We use Airbnb whenever we travel and have had wonderful experiences every time. This is the first time we stayed in a private room, and the experience was even more special. Diane is a thoughtful and extremely accommodating host. We felt very comfortable and the room included everything we needed and more. Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast Diane made each morning – such a delightful treat! Our trip was to experience Washington, DC. However, it was equally exciting to return each evening and have dinner in trendy Bethesda. The French restaurant “Mon Ami Gabi” was amazing – the real deal. Also, the Bethesda-Farm Women's Market ((website hidden) - across the street from Starbucks) has unique pastries, amazing cheeses, and many other items from local producers. The Bethesda Metro line is less than a ten-minute walk away; the Metro was our sole transportation for our entire stay. And even though it rained a lot during our visit, we had an exceptionally fun time! Thank you, thank you Diane!
Although my husband regularly stays at Diane's, it has been almost a year since I was first there. A year has not changed my initial view of a Home Away From Home as a wonderful place to be when visiting the DC area. The room is large, comfortable and very private. The location is ideal -- walking to shops and restaurants and most important easy access to the metro. But Diane is the highlight of the stay -- gracious, warm, accommodating and such a very interesting host. And one year later, she treated me to my favorite morning tea! Thank you. We will continue to book at Diane's whenever we travel to DC.
Diane was extremely flexible with my checkin time. She also had a parking spot in the building for me to use. Totally amazing.
The room is really clean and comfortable. It is in the center of Bethesda which made my life really easy while I was there.
There was coffee, juice and bagels in the AM. What more could I ask for!
Diane's home is very comfortable and lovely. The bed was a dream, especially after a long day. The area is really nice with lots of restaurant options. Diane herself is very kind, was so flexible and accommodating as our timing changed, and made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Thanks Diane!
Stayed with Diane for a day in Washington, it was my first BnB experience, and it was definitely a pleasure to stay with her. The room looked exactly like the photo, cozy, big, comfortable and clean. The place Bethesda is a nice place too, the apartment is close to the metro, where you can find lots of food nearby. Diane herself is just awesome, kind and sweet, sharing her experiences and stories, as well as having her breakfast was one of the best things throughout the trip.
I have no hesitation in recommending Diane's apartment!
