A great stay again at Diane's. Right in the heart of Bethesda, easy walking to the Metro, restaurants, and shops. The breakfasts were great starts to the days. My two grand-daughters--1 1/2 and 5-- dropped by and were dotingly entertained.
Home Away from Home is just that for my husband. He commutes to Bethesda for work almost every week for 2 days. His view is that Diane's is the "Best in Bethesda!" Diane offers a very spacious, private room with en suite bath in a quiet, warm and secure building in the heart of Bethesda. The room has cable TV, internet hook-up and printer, a very comfortable king bed and incidentals in the bathroom, in case you've forgotten anything. A wonderful, full breakfast with exceptionally good coffee is a treat to look forward to every morning. The consistency of this experience makes my husband's time away a very comfortable solution to his current work schedule.
Diane is a wonderful hostess. This is our second stay with her and will not be the last. She makes you feel warm and welcome and her breakfasts are yummy. The only negative is coming home and not having the same service. My husband likes bacon and eggs for breakfast. Lovely spacious room with all the amenities you need.
Diane's home away from home was delightful. She treated us like family. Our room was inviting, very clean, and complete with every amenity. There was plenty of closet and storage space and an extremely comfortable bed. The location was perfect for us as we could wander around downtown Bethesda which was within half a block. We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend Diane's airbnb.
Diane is the perfect host. She made us feel welcome from the first minute we stepped through her door. Our room was large and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable.
This was our first experience with Home Away from Home, and it is hard to imagine a finer introduction.
Thank you, Diane.
My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at Diane's apartment. The room was large (larger than it looks in the pictures) and we had more than enough space. It has a private bathroom and shower, which Diane has thoughtfully stocked with toiletries we might have forgotten. The apartment was very quiet and we did not hear any street noise.
Every morning, Diane prepared a gourmet breakfast to send us off for the day. She was very friendly, but gave us our own space. We very much felt like guests.
The apartment was conveniently located near the red line at the Bethesda stop. It was about an hour into Union Station (much less time into Adams Morgan or Dupont Circle). Uber and cabs are also easily available just outside. The apartment is also close to great restaurants and nice shopping in Bethesda. We ended up eating nearby every night because it was so convenient. It is across the street from a farmer's market/craft fair open on weekends.
