Audio Production Room In Mission

Apartment - Private room · Hampshire Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States

The Space

This is a nice little room in a four bedroom house in the Mission District.

It has a very comfy twin (single) sized bed and a computer with access to internet, Netflix, more than 200 DVD movie titles and a really cool audio set up.

The bed drawers and wardrobe usually stays empty, so there is lot of storage space.

The house sits right next to the oldest standing house in San Francisco, our house is about the same age, with its quirks and weird architectural design. It might not be fancy but has a lot of character and charm.

There is a toilet/sink room and a separate shower room with a bath tube, a large kitchen and a smoking area in the back.

We have access to a nice rooftop where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Potrero Hills and Twin Peaks

Its locations is just one block away from all the fun of 24th st. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, galleries, markets and street art around.

Transportation is very easy, the BART is a few blocks down, several Muni lines stop around the house and the airport is 15 minutes drive.

Potrero Del Sol park, Garfield Square and Precita Park are just a short walk away. Downtown is 10 biking.

You will be sharing the house with me (sometimes) and two other house mates, they both have their own private rooms and stay busy during the day.

Koko is a Filipino Student and an amazing sushi chef.
Ray works all day in construction and rides his fixie bike all over the city.

They are both very sociable and respectful, you might get a chance to talk to them during dinner and get to know them better.

We all love music in the house and would like to have musicians or music sensitive people visiting.

This place would be ideal for friends or couples traveling on a low budget. There is only a single bed in the room but there is an air mattress that you can use for an extra guess.

The place is not a fancy honeymoon chateau by any means
but a place where you can really experience what is like to live in San Francisco.

  • Leon's place is perfect for a person who needs a place to lay their head while exploring the town! It's close to public transit, easy to find, yet not in a noisy or unsafe area.
Leon and his roommates were incredibly welcoming, especially since I had to book last minute! They are interesting, kind, and helpful in exploring the city. The neighbourhood boasts some amazing Mexican food, cafes, and isn't too touristy!
If traveling alone, I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • The location is outstanding. Close to several bus lines and not too far from BART at all. Right around the corner from 24th which is packed with cafés, restaurants, taquerias and bars. Room was nice and clean and well-represented online. It could a bit cold in there, so bring an extra blanket/sheets if you want.
Also, I had to bail a day early and Leon was extremely cool and understanding.

  • Staying at Leon's pad is super comfortable and relaxing. There's good reggae music and lots of hospitality between all of the roommates. The room is small, but it's full of life - lots of cool things like a map of their road trip across country and a huge bookcase of audio and bike books, not to mention skateboards and umbrellas decorating the walls. It's a cozy, fun place to stay in a cool part of the mission, a quiet neighborhood next to 24th street, where you have access to tons of authentic mexican food.

Leon and the roommates are beyond laid back and offered me drinks and had some long conversations in my time around the house. I recommend staying here of you're into music, meeting locals, relaxing and having a good time.
