A place guests keep coming back to

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape!
Just 90 minutes from either Portland or Seattle, this 2 bedroom/2 full bath bungalow is located on 220 secluded acres of private wilderness along the Chehalis River.
The bungalow is priced for two guests, but can comfortably accommodate six at a charge of $50 per additional guest per night.
Come relax, hike, and explore!
The space
This unique bungalow features stunning views west across the Riverbend Preserve through 18 windows in the front of the house, lining the open plan living room and kitchen.
The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom sleeps another two on a twin-over-full bunk bed, and the living room futon fold out into a queen bed to comfortably sleep a total of six.
Outside on the deck you'll find cushy seating for four, and below you'll find a stone fire ring with sturdy Adirondack chairs and bundles of firewood for purchase.
Beyond that, you have 220 acres of forest, field, and river to explore!
Guest access
This modern bungalow is nestled in a private valley between the hills and the river; access is via a 2-mile logging road which is fully graveled but steep in a few places. Four-wheel drive is helpful in the winter, and we don't recommend bringing a small or low car at any time during the year as the loose gravel may kick up and cause damage.
As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other guest sites (there are currently only two).
Other things to note
This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay.
The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming.
I'm sorry that there's nothing I can do to mitigate this noisy nuisance! My only comfort is that it's infrequent.
If you use AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.
Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley.
Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints!
