Enjoy a full board and singular experience at Maasai Mara Villa Dominik.
Located on the escarpment overlooking the Maasai Mara ecosystem, with wide open views above the Mara Triangle.
Outside the park, park fees apply only on safari days — the experience is fully explained below.
Close to a Rhino Sanctuary and surrounded by wildlife, the villa offers access to activities beyond the park: nature walks, rhino encounters, walking safaris with giraffes, Maasai culture, and more.
The space
I kindly ask guests to read all the informations below to fully understand the experience of staying at Villa Dominik.
Villa Dominik is not a lodge or a standard hotel. It is my home, and the result of a lifelong project shaped by this place, its isolation, and the respect it requires. Here, nature is not a backdrop but the foundation of everything.
Choosing Villa Dominik means choosing a remote place, reached far from main roads and crowds, and accepting an environment that cannot be adjusted to conventional comfort standards. This distance is precisely what allows guests to experience the Maasai Mara in a quieter, more immersive way, away from constant movement and busy park gates.
Staying in a safari tent, even with a high level of comfort, is a different experience from traditional accommodation. You are closer to the elements, the landscape, and wildlife rhythms — and this closeness is part of what makes the stay meaningful, while still offering a level of comfort comparable to the best hospitality standards.

THE ACCOMMODATION
Villa Dominik offers three bedrooms spread across two separate safari tents. The villa is always reserved as a whole and is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
The main tent is a family tent with two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. One bedroom features a king-size bed. The second bedroom includes a king-size bed and a sofa that can be converted into a single bed, suitable for one adult or two young children.
The second tent, referred to as the extra tent, is fully independent and also includes an en-suite bathroom. It features a king-size bed and a sofa that can be converted into a single bed.

FULL BOARD
Full board at Villa Dominik includes all meals prepared and served at the villa: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Full board starts with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure. Meals are shared at the house and prepared on site, using fresh ingredients and adapting to the rhythm of the day.
On safari days, packed breakfasts and lunches are prepared according to the timing of the game drives.
Water, tea, and coffee are included throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are not included.
Full board does not include park entry fees, game drives, guides, activities, or transport, which are organized separately if needed.
⸻
CUISINE
Cuisine is an integral part of the experience and is prepared on site by me and my Head Chef Jackie. Our approach reflects the Villa Dominik style, rooted in my French culinary background and shaped by daily practice rather than any predefined culinary label.
Dietary restrictions (allergies, religious or personal restrictions) are always respected when communicated. For many guests, dining at the villa becomes a quiet and memorable highlight of their stay.
⸻
DRIVERS & ACCOMPANYING STAFF
Bedrooms are reserved exclusively for guests included in the booking. A driver may only use a guest bedroom if included as part of the reservation.
A dedicated staff quarter with accommodation and meals is available for drivers, or they may choose to stay elsewhere nearby, as this is typically included in their service arrangement.
To ensure smooth coordination and avoid misunderstandings, we strongly recommend working with our trusted driver partners, who are fully familiar with the setting and logistics of Villa Dominik.
⸻
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 3:00 pm.
Check-out is at 10:00 am.
Early check-in is not possible for organizational reasons. Guests arriving by plane should plan for an afternoon flight or be able to manage their time until check-in. There are no nearby facilities to wait before arrival. Guests arriving on a morning flight may choose to go directly on a full-day safari before coming to the villa in the afternoon.
