In Rome, few steps away from St. Peters and the Underground Line A (Cipro stop), Bi Bi Pesci is the ideal solution for who desires a cheap but comfortable accomodation in central Rome, to be enjoyed in full freedom. Dario's house is on the fourth floor (lift available) of a beautiful building in Viale degli Ammiragli 71, Rome.
In his large house Dario rents two nice rooms, each one with independent bathroom: the "due pesci" (#2 - two fish), with a king size bed, and the "tre pesci" (#3 - three fish), that can host three people.
The house has a large living room, where you can listen to music, read a book in peace or watch TV. We offer free wi-fi internet connection. Our two rooms are bright and spacious, with big windows. The triple room has a nice balcony with sofa, ideal for smokers. For every room there is a private bathroom just in front of it. When I arrived the host was not present and did not answer the phone. I called the airbnb help line, they also could not get a hold of the host. I eventually found a hotel nearby which could accommodate.
The next day airbnb spoke with the host and they told me he did not realize he booked me. The reservation for the remaining days I was to stay there were cancelled, as I was informed the host was out of town.
I had a wonderful stay with Dario and Guisy in Rome. Their place is in a great location, very clean and the room is large, bright and includes a private bath. Both were very accommodating in providing directions, suggesting local eateries, arranging transport to the airport and all-around more than generous with their time. The breakfast was tasty and refrigerator space was available for my personal use. I hope to return sometime this summer. Thank you!!!!
Host was not around when I reached but got his friend to open the doors and showed me around. I met the host on the last night before I left and he had prepared dinner for the other guests. It is pity that I didn't had the time to interact with him, but the room was clean, and I had my own private toilet and bathroom, which was great. Location is a little far, but still walkable from the metro.
I stayed two days in Rome with Dario & Bibi. Bibi is an excellent host. Their place is very close to the Metro (A-line, Cipro stop) so everything in Rome is very nearby. The vatican is about a 10-minute walk away.
I warmly recommend Bibipesci to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome.
I have no words of how happy I felt during my stay in this apartment. I've visited Rome before and I intended to explore the city further as I am considering to move to Rome. Renting from Dario and Goyse provided me the opportunity to do so since it was close to the transportation. Renting from Dario was the best decision that I've made in this trip. At the apartment, Goyse was very responsive, kind and communicative. She truly cared that I feel comfortable while I stayed in their apartment. The apartment is also located in a quite area which was important for me.
I cant overemphasize how comfortable and relaxed I felt while staying in Dario's apartment. I really appreciate everything you did guys to make the stay as nice as possible. Thank you!
I was very well welcomed at Bibi Pesci and definitely recommended this place. I booked my stay with a very short notice - from one day to another - and I still got a (positive) response in the same day. What a surprise the fact that the hostess spoke Portuguese, almost perfectly! She also gave me many good ideas on what to do in Rome. Very complete breakfast for my standards (no need for sausages, tomatoes and that kind of thing), very friendly/familiar environment, the room was cute and quite spacy and the location is fantastic, close to a metro station, which is just not so easy in Rome. You may get to see the Pope on your first day of visit already - S. Pedro basilica is walking distance. Enjoy!
