Self contained small studio in Dublin 1.
6 minutes walk to O'Connell Street which is the main street in the centre of Dublin. 2 Minutes to the main football stadium. About 10 Minutes walk to Temple Bar where all of the famous Irish pubs are located.
Hi speed WiFi Wireless Internet is included.
The studio is close to the junction of North Circular Road and Dorset street. Dorset Street is on the main route for Dublin Airport. The number 16 Bus goes from here and is every 15 minutes directly to the Airport and cost about 2 euros. It takes less than 30 mins to the Airport.
There is a fixed single bed as seen in the photos and there is also a pull out single IKEA sofa bed which is not shown in the photos yet.
Please note that electricity cost is not included in the nightly rate. In the apartment ,there is n electric meter displaying in euros 24 hours the cost of electricity. a meter reading is done on arrival and before leaving the apartment please look at the electric meter and leave the money for electricity on the kitchen counter, Thanks very much. That way it allows us to keep a very competitif price for the night rental and allowing each guest to do exactly what they want.
Thanks Alex for being so welcoming and accommodating when we arrived late at night from the airport. Very friendly and helpful host. The apartment is close enough to the city without feeling like you are on top of everything - nice to get away from the noise and crowds. Although the room was small (probably best for one person only), it was cosy and clean. We felt very safe as two girls walking in the neighbourhood. A kettle in the kitchen would have been nice!
Thank you very much Megan for your feedback. It was a real pleasure meeting you and late check- in is not a problem. We are always very happy to meet our Guests anytime.
We are very sorry about the kettle, we forgot to put it back. Thanks for mentioning it.
It is there now. We are very happy that you like the apartment and your stay in Dublin.
You are very welcome anytime:):):)

You definitely get what it says on the tin on this one, it is small but it is also clean and pretty well appointed albeit a bit stuffy. The location is decent, about 20 minutes walking from Temple Bar. Some areas of the local neighbourhoods seemed a bit rough at night, so if you are getting home near pub closing time a cab is a good plan - just tell them you want to go to North Circle at the Summerhill end, unless you want a impromptu tour of Dublin. We didn’t see much of our hosts beyond a quick tour (although it would be difficult to make any tour last longer given the size of the place) and an explanation of the electricity deal but it wasn’t really a bother as everything was set up and ready for use. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a decent, affordable stay in Dublin.
very easy. arrived at the house where I was greeted and given maps and shown all the best touristy and non touristy locations to see. They were very helpful and I had absolutely no problems. I recommend staying wit the Colms.
Alex and Nathalie are great hosts! They let us check in super early and gave us a map that pointed out their favorite spots as well as some close convenience stores and the nearest tesco. The room is small, but adequate for two people for a couple of nights. Alex was even extremely nice when I woke them up at 5:15am because I locked my jacket in the apartment when we were leaving to head to the airport.
Thanks very much for staying with us. we were very friendly and very easy to communicate with. It was a pleasure meeting you and yes, we are very happy to facilitate early check- in if it is possible. Early check- out is also always possible where you only have to leave the key on the apartment and close the door. So very straight, easy check- out is always the case too.
Thank you very much for everything!!! Warm Regards. Alex and Nathalie
Nathalie gave me a very warm welcome to Dublin, giving me lots of suggestions of places to go and things to see. My flight arrived before the check-in time and they were able to let me in early which was a huge help. I found the apartment exactly as described. Small as the photos show, but perfect for what I needed, a place to crash at night and clean up in the morning. It was clean and in a good location for walking to most anywhere. The electricity being metered in addition to the rate was no problem at all, for my 3 night stay it was 4 euros. I would recommend the apartment, especially for a single traveler who doesn't want to spend their stay in beautiful Dublin inside their room.
Thanks very much Joe, it was fantastic meeting you. We are delighted that what we recommended to you was helpfull and that you have had a great time at the apartment and in Dublin.
Thanks so much for looking after the place so well.
Hope to see you again,
Alex and Nathalie
The host was super friendly and was more than willing to give advice! The flat was clean and my friend and I enjoyed our stay. A good sized flat for like 1/ max 2 people.
Hi Amanda, it I was fantastic meeting you and your friend. We were delighted to have you stay at our apartment and that you enjoyed it.
we are so happy when our guests really enjoy themselves. It is very important to us and help us continue to make a difference in their stay in Dublin:):):)

We had a wonderful stay in Dublin. Colm and Nathalie's were really great host. They gave us lots of tips of things to do in Dublin and a map with great directions. The apartment looks just like the pictures. It's small but it was prefect for what we needed it for. The location is great, close to everything and very accessible by all forms of transportation.
Apartment as described, small but comfortable, in walking distance of the city and various bus stops. Great for a short trip to Dublin. Thanks.
Had a great stay in Dublin! The room was perfectly fine for one low maintenance traveler needing a place to crash for a few nights. Nathalie was a great host and made sure I had a good layout of the city and the places to see. I think the description of the place is quite accurate, so if you're expecting hotel type accommodations or to be able to walk right out into Temple Bar, this isn't the place for you.
It's a 10 min walk to Connolly station and about a 10 min walk to O'Connell St. If you're walking to Temple Bar or Grafton St., you're looking at closer to a 20-25min walk. Very easy to navigate once you get your bearings, and I felt safe walking back and forth by myself. Of course, I wasn't stumbling back drunk at 1am either. I'm sure it's fine in a group, but as an individual I'd always err on the side of caution and hail one of the numerous taxis that's driving around.
I had a car at the beginning of my trip and didn't have any trouble finding parking on the free side of the road outside the place. You definitely don't need a car unless you're planning on a fair amount of travel outside of Dublin (which I was). When I came back through Dublin at the end of my trip, I dropped my car off at the airport and caught the 16 Bus back in. It took about 30 min during rush hour. Going to the airport on Sunday morning only took about 15-20. Either way, it's an easy location to get to from the airport, by car or bus.
