Self contained small studio in Dublin 1.
6 minutes walk to O'Connell Street which is the main street in the centre of Dublin. 2 Minutes to the main football stadium. About 10 Minutes walk to Temple Bar where all of the famous Irish pubs are located.
Hi speed WiFi Wireless Internet is included.
The studio is close to the junction of North Circular Road and Dorset street. Dorset Street is on the main route for Dublin Airport. The number 16 Bus goes from here and is every 15 minutes directly to the Airport and cost about 2 euros. It takes less than 30 mins to the Airport.
There is a fixed single bed as seen in the photos and there is also a pull out single IKEA sofa bed which is not shown in the photos yet.
Please note that electricity cost is not included in the nightly rate. In the apartment ,there is n electric meter displaying in euros 24 hours the cost of electricity. a meter reading is done on arrival and before leaving the apartment please look at the electric meter and leave the money for electricity on the kitchen counter, Thanks very much. That way it allows us to keep a very competitif price for the night rental and allowing each guest to do exactly what they want.
Non smoking and non party apartment.
No loud noise or loud music.
I had a very nice stay at Alex and Ada's place. They waited for me despite late arrival due to delayed flight and Ada provided a good overview on what should be seen during my first trip to Dublin. The apartment is in good location with a short walk (10-15 minutes) to Temple Bar area, close to everything but not overcrowded. I've got all what I needed and felt very welcomed, thank you!.
Alex and Ada were great. We arrived very late at night around 2 am and they waited up for us. Although it was super later Ada still gave us a detailed overview of Dublin and gave us lots of great recommendations.
My boyfriend and I were very comfortable in the flat. It was a short walk to the city center about 15 mins. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend this flat to anyone who visits Dublin.
Alex and Natalie were very welcoming hosts. They let us drop our bags off early and gave us a little tour of where to go for grocery shopping and places to check out. For my first air bnb this was a great experience. Flat is very close to everything and as I was here for St. Patrick's weekend only a 15 minute walk to city center. Only downfalls is the sink was constantly dripping and we had some issues at first getting in contact with Alex and Natalie. I would recommend this for a couple or a single traveler as the flat is very small. Thank you for everything!
Thank you very much for staying with us and for your feedback. The sink is fixed, it was very simple and was done in 30 minutes. You should have let us know and we would have fixed it straightaway. We had a good few check- in and check out time at the same time as yourself and we did our best to try to please and be as flexible as possible for everyone so it is hard to be everywhere at the same time. It was a rare situation because it was Saint- Patrick's and it was very busy. We love it:D
Thank you so very much for your visit. We really appreciate it. You are both fantastic ladies:):):)
The apartment is really not far from the center O'Connolly street, it is about 10 minutes by walk. It was interesting experience to live like locals. Alex is a very caring host and explained in details where are nearest food shops and pubs are situated and how to use heating devices inside the flat.
Alex and Natalie are super nice people, who welcomed us with lots of helpful information for exploring Dublin and the area around it.
The apartment is very close to the city center and easy to get to with the bus. Unfortunately there are some negatives to it though:
- It's a very very small and clammy apartment
- The bed does only fit for a single person, there is a second fold out bed which fills the small room completely if used
- the kitchen was grubby and missed some cooking equipment
- There is just a fan heater for the cold and clammy room
- neighbors were partying on Saturday night
For a single traveler this might be alright, for a couple this is just too small and taking extra money for a second person seems unjustified.
We have had great pleasure meeting Nele and her partner. They were very friendly and seem to be very happy when we met them at the apartment.
Yes, it is true the apartment is very small, it suits Guests who are o. A. Budget and want to pay less as we have also 2 bigger apartments for guests who need more space.
We have had many times couples and e joyed this apartment, very often Sharing the same bed. It is for our Guests to know what space suits them best. It is clearly said on the description, no surprise there.
As the space is tighter, the kitchen has only basic equipment, enough to make a simple meal.
The heater is new and perfect to heat the small apartment.
During your stay, there were other Guests who were there and found out that they were partying at the apartment, it never happened before as our guests are usually brilliant. We are very sorry about that.
Thank you very much Nele,
Very kind hosts, accurate directions originally. The place was exactly as advertised. Cozy and handy for one person, 5min walk from a Spar and 10min walk from a Tesco. City Centre is around 20-25mins on foot but there are similar buses that get you there
We had great pleasure welcoming Dimitri for his stay in Dublin, very nice, exact, very kind and warm person, very nice guest. Pew would be very happy to welcome him again:):):)
Thank you so very much for staying with us Dimitri, you are very welcome anytime,
Alex and Ada
Ada and Alex we wonderful hosts! The place was small but cozy, and was a perfect place for us to stay in Dublin for a couple of days. They gave us a map and city guide and pointed out all the major tourist attractions, all of which were within walking distance of the house. We loved our stay and cannot wait to come back to Dublin!

We love meeting Guests from all over the world. We have met fantastic people and have had a great experience with airbnb guests. We are an easygoing family, very patient and understanding. We do our very best to make sure that you enjoy your stay with us and in Dublin. We are very happy to advise you on off the beaten tracks things to do in Dublin. We will accompany you a little to show you where to go from the apartment to the heart of the city center on foot. We will give you maps, circle the places on it where we thing it is worth visiting....We privilege communication on both side. We will always be very happy to take your luggage early if you wish. we are offering easy check-out where you can check yourself out very easily by just leaving the key of your apartment on the kitchen counter along with the electricity money and just close the door of the apartment behind you as the door locks by itself so very early check- out is very easy and always possible. Should you have a late flight and enjoy Dublin to the very hand, we are very happy to offer to you to leave your luggage in the hallway.
We are very easy going and patient.
We are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you in Dublin:):):)
