Camp Suite 9 – "The Twister," a small cozy room, pet-friendly with a covered porch. Perfect for nature lovers with fire pit gatherings and fishing. Enjoy a touch of nostalgia with a “dirty dancing” feeling. Explore Dupont State Forest, bike at Kanuga Mountain Bike Park or 2-miles to downtown Hendersonville, NC. Complimentary lake access and use of canoes, paddleboards, and kayaks. Open April 1 - October 31.

The space
Your Camp Suite has been a cherished part of summer camp traditions since the 1930s. Today, the Camp Suites have been thoughtfully updated and modernized to meet the needs of contemporary living, while still preserving their nostalgic charm.

Owner Todd Leoni, once a camper himself, fell in love with this special place as a child. When the opportunity arose, he purchased the lake and the surrounding property to preserve the memories he and so many others had made here. Now, he invites you to create your own unforgettable memories in a place that has brought joy to generations. “Feels Like Camp”

Guest access
This Camp Suite is one of 10. The entire outdoor area with grills, fire pit, picnic tables, hammock, corn hole, canoes, kayaks, paddles boards etc are shared with the other guests. Please share responsibly.

Other things to note
The bathroom is tiny, like one you would find on a train/caboose. The bathroom sink is in the room. If you like tiny house living, then you will feel right at home. It’s one of our smallest Camp Suites with the largest covered porch.
