The space

DESCRIPTION The old cottage, which was fully renovated with taste and respect to the Cycladic minimalistic architecture, is characterized by simplicity and looseness. The house has traditional wooden ceiling and thick stone walls. Cozy, not too big, but though very functional (it is 45 m2 plus the smart attic bedroom), it can accommodate two adults and two children or three adults. There is one double bed, a sleeping couch (and a baby cot available). The house has also a fully equipped modern kitchen for self catering. The pleasant living room opens directly to the main terrace and is connected to the functional open plan kitchen and indoor informal dining area. The outdoors features a large veranda covered with pergola with a lovely shaded place which includes a dining marble table and a rest area, completely wind-sheltered, enjoying good privacy and providing an ideal location for al-fresco meals or evening cocktails with the moon and the lights of Syros island flicker across the sea. LOCATION This typical Cycladic guesthouse is located in a peaceful site upon a hill at the height of 300m above sea level, 2.5 km from the centre of Parikia. It perfectly combines convenience with totally relaxing environment and panoramic views of the Aegean blue from its indoor and outdoor areas. Situated on a private property (a 4500 m2 plot of land) and surrounded by age-old olive trees and Mediterranean bushy vegetation (fruit trees, aromatic herbs, vineyard, lavender and wild flowers) the place offers an amazing unobstructed view over the town, the port and the bay of Parikia, besides the Aegean Sea and the nearby islands. Its privileged countryside location allows guests to enjoy the tranquil Cycladic ambience with maximum quietness, privacy and relaxation. Sometimes the only sound is the wind and the cicada song. Breathtaking sunset views will keep these holidays amongst one’s best memories. Own transport (a car or a motorbike) is needed with freedom to discover Paros and Antiparos at own pace. Parking space is available on the property.

Ionnis was a wonderful host. He greeted us at the ferry and escorted us to the first of his properties and showed us bicycles that we could use while in Paros. Then he escorted us to this property which overlooked Parikia and was a beautifully designed studio/loft. We rented a car and navigated the steep mountainous area with care. Ionnis was very generous providing us figs and grapes from his own garden and homemade wine and grappa. The views were breathtaking!

We had an absolutely incredible stay here! Our host was so welcoming, he met us at the port and assisted us in finding our rental car place and then escorted us up to the house. He helped show us around and even suggested various locations around parros that we should visit. He left us wine and a phone number that he could be contacted at if we had any questions or issues. He was incredibly friendly and helpfup! Not to mention how private this area was. No neighbors near by and the most amazing view I've ever had. When we first got there it quite literally took my breath away!

The cottage is a true oasis! A picturesque place with probably the best view on Paros - especially great for the sunset. The small house is equipped very modern and has everything you need to enjoy your time there. Ioannis was a great host and very helpful. We are looking forward to come here again one time.

Accommodation is a great spot with an amazing view and a perfect sunset. Great place to relax at any time of the day. Definitely will need some kind of transportation (quad or car. Maybe not scooter) to get to it as it is literally up the mountain on small roads. Fresh, homemade olive oil and fruit were waiting for us as well as any help we could have asked for. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 9 nights in this beautiful cottage. Ioannis is a very nice host, sharing great recommendations for restaurants and other places on the island. He also offered to taste his homemade wine, Grappa and olive oil which is just yummy :) The cottage offers a wonderful view over Parikia, the sea and the sunset. Everything is as described or even better. We recommend to rent a car or scooter in order to reach Parikia in less than 5 minutes. We'll definitely come back!
