It was exactly as advertised and as expected. We had one large bedroom for two adults and two children, a common area for eating and minimal cooking (good for breakfast or a snack). In this apartment, there is a second bedroom which may be occupied by another person or people and you do share a bathroom so it is a bit like a hostel but perfectly acceptable to us after a long trip by air and then the drive from Geneva. It was quiet and the view was beautiful, when the fog lifted (briefly).
Marina made us feel welcome, with a nice little touch: our name on the door and chocolates in the bedroom.
Location was great and there is a small store for groceries five minutes' walk down the road towards Neuchatel.
It is less than ten minutes drive to Neuchatel and easy access to local attractions.
We stopped at Yverdon for the Museum and I recommend it. . . "6,000 years in 1 1/2 hours" plus an interesting castle to explore.
Free advice: use Nav or GPS to help find the way! I was grateful that our car (unexpectedly) came with it.
Marina was very nice and welcoming. The room was light and comfortable, with amazing views of the lake, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. Exactly what we were looking for.

About the Host, Marina
