The apartement is located in the center of Berlins east. The famous TV-Tower is pretty much in walking distance. Walking there, you will pass a lot of bars, restaurants boutiques and shops of high quality. If you take another route, let´s say towards Mauerpark on a suday for example, you would walk through the Prenzlauer Berg. Famous Kastanienallee is part of your way with again loads of shops and restaurants. Once you have reached Mauerpark on a sunday you can be part of the world famous open air karaoke in the middle of the huge fleamarket where pretty much the whole town comes together. The apartement is very central and has best access to all public transportation. Museums, theaters and sites are all in walking distance. You can catch a view of famous tv-towers tip out of the kitchen window. The area is save, easy going and became quiet hip in the past couple of years. Our street though is very quite. You will apreciate the place if you compare it to your friends accomodations with a similar price. I am looking forward to welcome every single one of you guys.

It was great to meet Karsten - he was very helpful in settling in and giving tips about where to go in the evening.
The flat itself is awesome, like a travel back in time - nevertheless with WiFi ;-). I enjoyed the authentic atmosphere in a top location. All "Mitte" bars and restaurants are within walking distance, subway only 5 mins to get everywhere. I'd definitely recommend Karsten's place.
A good flat in super location. Simple and ascetic flat in which you find all what you need. In cold weather there is very comfortable.
Immer wieder gerne!
Large apartment, parking available in front of the block, minimal equipment, to the center about 15min walk, around a delicious bakery for breakfast and pizza: "Mozzarella & Pomodoro", Club Weekend on Allexanderplaz-great. I recommend!
Karsten is a very lovely and friendly guy. You get what you pay for. He was very helpful and if you need anything he will try and get there as fast as he can. Great guy to talk to and ask for advice about anything you need.
Great apartment in a nice location. Easily accommodated for 5 people. Karsten is a great host and was very helpful. Would happily stay here again in the future.
The apartment is located in a very nice and cosy neighbourhood of Prenzlauer Berg. The street is very calm. In the apartment itself is was very quiet too.
We experienced the way the apartment was cleaned as the most negative point of our citytrip. Karsten was cleaning the apartment when we arrived, so we cannot say it was dirty. But dusty it was!! Under the beds there was lots of dust, as well as on the closet, on the heating system. This made it very uncomfortable for us each time we arrived in the apartment.
Karsten himself was a friendly guy, but a bit nonchalant in communication, (website hidden). bringing toilet paper as he promised
We told in advance we would come by car. Karsten completely forgot to mention us that we had to buy an Environmental Sticker to enter the city center. We didn't know about it, so we had to figure it out ourselves during our first day
Although we explained and paid for 6 persons, the apartment was actually not suited for 6 persons: not enough chairs, not enough plates and cutlery. We choose an apartment through Airbnb to have more accommodation than a hotel room.
I had a great stay. The place is exactly how it looks on the pictures: spacious, bright and with furniture restricted to the basic needs. Unless you plan to spend your whole time inside and look for the cosiest appartment, this one is yours! Plus, 60€ per night for staying in one of those Plenzauerberg's charming street is definitely worth considering, especially since you can stay with 3 people without extra fee, and up to 6! Lots of great bars and restaurants around, as well as a supermarket. Karsten was very nice, and was even able to welcome me 1 hour before the usual checking time (3 pm).
