HORSE & LLAMA Friendly! Bring yours or pet ours!
We welcome our guests, provide information about local hot spots and recreation orally and with brochures and guide book in room and are happy to fulfill any special needs they have during their stay. We do have a blow-up bed to accommodate children.
Erickson Road is a quiet country road a few minutes east of town in the heart of year-round road cycling terrain. Roads are fairly flat with small hills, little traffic and idyllic scenery of farms and open public lands with old growth scenery. We are located a mile from public (BLM) land for long walks by the canals. All this, and we are less five minutes from major shopping at Whole Foods, Costco, Safeway, Starbucks, great restaurants and brewery, Barnes & Noble and many others . Another five minutes takes you into town to both the popular downtown Bend and The Old Mill District.

We LOVED our stay Edwin & Lynne. Their home is beautiful and really fun if you're into barn animals. It's peaceful and comfortable. They are friendly and laid back. Great place to stay if you have a dog too. Ours loved the llamas.
Why pay more for a hotel room when places like Juniper Ranch are available? Ed and Lynn provide a wonderfully large and comfortable suite that includes a large bedroom with gas fireplace; large windows letting in lots of light; a very large bathroom with walk-in shower and double sinks; a closet/kitchenette with small fridge and microwave and coffee maker.
Outside the door are horses, Llamas and their own four dogs.
The couple makes for wonderful hosts providing all the assistance you might need, while respecting your privacy. Coming to Bend? Book your stay here!
This was our first AirBnB experience and we are now hooked. THis is a truely lovely place. Very clean and roomy. The dogs on the property are very friendly and it was very quite. The fireplace adds a romantic touch.
Wonderful little guest space! It had everything you could want and was very comfortable and cozy. Met Lynne and she was very sweet and welcoming. Because I went during inclimate weather I was unable to walk around the property but it was very beautiful. I will definitely stay here again!
We made a last-minute decision to spend the MLK long weekend in Bend--and boy, did that turn out to be the right thing to do! Juniper Springs Ranch is lovely in every possible way. The guest suite was totally private, spotless, with a fluffy Queen-sized bed and a huge bathroom with all the amenities. The fact that it turned out to be the perfect January weekend didn't hurt either. The skies were clear blue and the weather was around 60 degrees. We hiked in the Badlands and up to the top of Pilot Butte--where the view was amazing. As far as food, we recommend the Phoenix, near the house, and the Kona Mix and Anthony's at the Old Mill. The last one was spendy for us, but we ended up there by accident and the food was some of the best we've ever had. (Get the award-winning clam chowder!) I came home with a couple of vintage pieces I scored to sell at my antique booth and a tummy filled with candy from Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe at the Old Mill. (Also, a MUST stop before you go home!!) Ed and Lynne were fantastic hosts--we really appreciated their openness and their hospitality. Thanks Ed and Lynne for sharing your beautiful home, your great dogs and your fabulous llamas. We hope we can come back and see you another time!
My boyfriend Tom, our puppy Charlie and I stayed in Edwin and Lynne's guest room for two nights in December as we were passing through Bend, and had a lovely stay. As advertised, the room has its own entrance, bathroom and large closet that doubles as a mini-kitchen area with a microwave and fridge, such that you feel like you are staying in your own large bed and breakfast suite and not as part of a regular home. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets, towels and brochures for local activities in the room. When we arrived there was a fire glowing in the fireplace and the space was cozy warm. We enjoyed bundling up and walking the grounds with our dog and visiting the horses and the ever so curious llamas. As noted it is about a 10-15 minute drive to town but was easy and worth the extra space and great deal we were receiving by staying on the ranch.
While we had total privacy when we wanted it, we had the pleasure of chatting with Edwin a couple of times, who gave us some local tips, and we were treated to lattes and pastries to send us off on our final morning. All and all a wonderful stay that exceeded expectations - hospitality at its finest - we would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay in Bend with Ed and Lynne! Their suite, along with the friendly animals to visit, made it very worthwhile.
Completely delightful. A very, very nicely appointed room with a glorious bath. The mini-kitchen includes MW, toaster, plentiful coffees and tea, and fridge, naturally. You're greeted by a passel of friendly dogs! Don't hesitate. It's lovely.
We received a quick response from Ed and Lynn. If you like comfortable living in a rural setting this is the place. I loved the dogs llamas and walks around their small farm with great views of the snow capped sisters. Ed served us hot lattes and pastries. Really loved the setting and hospitality of Ed and lynn.
If you're looking for a home base in Bend for day trips that cover the high desert as well as the mountains of the Cascades this is the place to stay. I loved the location of Juniper Springs Ranch—just outside of Bend, but only 10 minutes from all the conveniences—you get to experience the big open space of the desert with views of the Cascades. Edwin and Lynne have a menagerie of animals, both farm and domestic. My dog, Cowboy, was welcomed and really enjoyed his time here. I felt guilty bringing him home to the confines of a yard! The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom and a space for kitchen essentials. It felt more like a small studio than a room, with warm wall colors and fabrics. All together a great experience here and will definitely stay again when I return to Bend.
