Mountain and garden views

Soak up the views during your stay.
This converted RV is nestled in the back of our property, and is fully fenced and private. It really feels like it's own space. The RV hosts a king-sized bed, full kitchen and seating area. Outside is the shower (private, but also open to the air) and WC which are adjacent on the patio. We are pet friendly, however there is a pet fee of $20 per pet per night.

The space
This RV is located in the back of the property, and is surrounded by a 6 foot fence, which envelops the patio, fire-pit, no-chemical hot-tub, outside shower & WC. It has amazing mountain views in the day, and star filled skies at night. It is quiet and clean, and is definitely a "glamping" situation. There is a full kitchen stocked with anything one might need to cook a meal which can be enjoyed inside or out! There is one designated off street parking space. It is a relaxing and wonderful home base for any trip to this gorgeous part of California. Just a note!! Because we are located in the foothills, this is definitely a place where you will encounter nature. This means there are frogs singing in the creek, all kinds of birds, butterflies, the occasional squirrel or bunny, horses next door and currently we have barn owls and a great horned owl nearby (you will hear their calls at night). This also means there are spiders, ants and other insects that live where we live, skunks and raccoons as well. We do our very best to keep these critters at bay, if you encounter anything that scares ya, please text us and we will immediately remedy the situation. We don't believe in pesticides, but we have natural ways of abatement for the insects!

Guest access
The RV is fully fenced in so it is all yours once you come in the gate! You will feel like it is your own and is wonderfully private.

Other things to note
Occasionally, I have my daughter's dog who could be on the property, but she will be in the main house and main house yard only. You have complete privacy and fencing for yourself and your guests/pets. My cat Hamlet may make an appearance, he is a confident, sweet cat who will come say hello and might make himself a napping area on the outside furniture.

My work: Doles Designs
Lives in Carpinteria, California
I have been a landscape designer in Santa Barbara county since the 70's, specializing in drought resistant gardens using California natives, succulents and cacti. I feel blessed to live in this little slice of paradise on the coast. I take time off to camp and visit hot springs, and love the outdoors (especially the desert). I am new to air bnb hosting, but am happy to share my unique home with travelers visiting this gorgeous part of the state.
