Alison is the friendliest host to end all friendliest hosts. The room was nice and clean - and the bed included nice pillows and a duvet! (Hoorray said the Dane).
The kitchen is as cosy as in the picture, the dog as sweet and the bathroom is verynice, too.
Good atmosphere, lovely, peaceful, neighbourhood, next to a Central Line tube station, 30 minutes from Oxford Street.
I'll be back.
Cosy house in a village-like neighbourhood, two sweet dogs and a small but cosy room. Alison is a nice and flexible host who makes a visitor feel welcomed. Recommended!
Despite having a busy schedule, Alison ensured that I was comfortable at her place. I had a restful stay in the cosy room and quiet neighbourhood, with the occasional company of 2 adorable dogs.
This is the perfect stay for someone visiting London who wants somewhere private. The house is in a nice neighborhood a few minutes walk from the train station. Alison is very helpful, she helped me with information about the train. I would stay here again.
I had a fantastic time staying with Alison, she made me very welcome and the room was great, exactly what I was expecting in an excellent location. Everything was easy to find and well organised, and I felt safe & well looked after!
I'd recommend this room to anyone.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend a few days in London. I was unfortunately unable to meet Alison as she was also traveling but she had a friend stay at the house as well who was very accommodating and helpful. The room is small but perfect place for just leaving your belongings and exploring the city. Extremely easy access to the Central line via West Acton station made it easy to get around and the street is well lit at night so walking to and from the house after sunset was very safe. The room was clean, Alison is very generous to provide breakfast and local shops made it easy to procure anything else I may have needed. Thanks for a lovely stay Alison!
Alison's home was welcoming, calm and the room is lovely! Would definitely recommend

I am originally from New Zealand but have been living in London now for over 20 years (not a plan). I have been doing Airbnb since May 2013 and have enjoyed meeting the people travelling through London. I work full time so will often leave early, but can always be contacted if there are any problems/questions.
I have tried to describe the rooms accurately, but if you have any questions/special needs please get in touch.
