A stylish and comfortable one bed flat just off the bustling Gloucester Rd with its great range of independent shops, bars and restaurants. We’re around 20 mins walk into town and close to great local, national and international transport links. This is a vibrant central area but a fairly quiet road. Parking can be difficult during the day but usually OK in the evening and at weekends. There is a lovely park just around the corner and a thriving independent high street.

The space
This is a self contained flat with its own front door. We live in the house above so we're very happy to offer any info about the area or what to do. The flat is on the ground floor and has a small paved outside area too. There is one bedroom with a comfy king size bed and also a new standard size double sofa bed in the living room. There is a bathroom with shower and bath and a well equipped kitchen. The road is quiet and free parking is available on the road but it is often difficult to find a space.
We use Egyptian cotton bedding and provide basics such as tea and coffee, shampoo etc. We are happy to get any shopping you want in advance for payment when you arrive. A travel cot can be provided if required. Please let us know when you book.
There is a selection of books and DVDs available.

We are happy to accept bookings that are longer than a month but just let us know first.

Guest access
Your space is yours as you have your own front door and although it is on the ground floor, is unsuitable for wheelchair access as there is a step inside. There is a small area outside with a table and chairs.

Other things to note
The bedroom is lit by a skylight and is below ground level at the rear of the house. We say the flat isn't suitable for young children as there is a step in the kitchen and no child locks etc. We can provide a travel cot or a fold out child bed if required. Kids are welcome if you are happy to take the flat as you find it.

There is now a Congestion Zone charge for some cars in the centre. We are not located in that zone but beware if you are driving here.

Neighborhood highlights

The Gloucester Rd is a few steps away and we are lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants and gastro pubs nearby. It is the longest road of independent shops in Europe and has a really good selection including a couple of good supermarkets within 5 mins walk, as well as bakers, butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, gift shops, clothes shops, health food, delis etc. There are also some great retro, vintage and charity shops.

There is a Congestion Zone charge for some cars in the centre. We are not in that zone but do be aware if you are driving here with a non compliant car.

The flat is a short walk away from Gloucester Cricket Club which hosts local, national and international matches. There is a great blog about all the lovely places to eat locally in the flat too. We can send the link if you'd like to plan!
