The Yurt is an amazing place and Mary and Dick are great hosts. The trails are very beautiful and the space itself is very warm and comfortable. It’s close enough to some great attractions but far enough away to avoid if you want to be in nature.

This isn’t your typical yurt! It was so stylish and clean. The location halfway between sleeping bear dunes and downtown Traverse City was perfect for us. The wood stove kept us warm and the woods kept everything very quiet in the morning.
