Situated in the centre of the city.
This is our smaller bedroom. Furthermore we offer a spacious bathroom with toilet. In the bedroom you can find a washstand.
The location is nice; very quiet and peaceful. However, the bathroom is not private, and there is an extra cost of 2 Euros per person per night (not a deal breaker, but why not put that into the cost breakdown?). The light breakfast was much appreciated. All in all, this is more like a private room in a hostel than what I expect from a B&B, which made me feel like I overpaid.
Jacqueline was very friendly and helpful! The room was perfect for the short stay. Only the radiator was a bit small for the room, took some time for it to get warm. The breakfast was really nice and plenty! The place is a bit further away from the main city center (about 10 minutes on foot) but to walk a around in Bruges is always nice, just take different routes to this palce and you will discover nice streets and houses!
Jacqueline lives at one of the least crowded places inside the center of Brugge, shes nearly a professional hostess, very respectful to ones needs and privacy, and the breakfast served is rather a feast. thank you jacqueline
Jacqueline hosts a great space just outside the main streets of Bruges. We stayed in the smaller room on the top floor but it was plenty of space for the two of us with a sink included and separate, shared bathroom, downstairs. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was provided at a requested time in the morning and Jacqueline recommends a very good place for dinner with an affordable fixed price menu which was delicious.
Jacqueline is very polite and welcoming and even made time in her day to accommodate our late arrival after having some issues with our schedule.
Were we to return to Bruges, we would certainly want to stay here again.
I had a great experience! Jacqueline was willing to be flexible with my arrival schedule (it fluctuated quite a bit) and the space was great. The one caveat is that the eaves in my room were really low, so it's fine since I'm 5'2", but I would beware for taller travelers. The location of the home is great, only a 15 minute walk to the train station, and by the river! All in all, a really positive space to stay in for a night.
