In addition to those of Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel, there are countless churches and ancient frescoed halls. Padua is the home of the oldest Italian university, which hosted Galileo Galilei and has among its jewels the Basilica of St. Antonio, a place of pilgrimage from all over the world.

Nous avons ete tres bien accueillies, endroit magnifique et logement charmant. Je recommande vivement.
A big appartment in a beautiful old house. Marinas sister Rosetta gave us a warm welcome and even has bought some fruit, food and water for us. She further had a lot of good recommendations for us.The appartment is full of antique furnitures. A bus stop with a frequent connection into the city is directly in front of the house. We can recommend the appartment for thouse who like charming old houses with history more than stylish new appartments.
I received a very gracious welcome from Marina and Riccardo despite arriving at the apartment quite late. In the apartment I found some much appreciated food and water, as my travel itinerary had left me with few dining options. The apartment -- and their entire home -- is lovely, both inside and outside. Marina was incredibly helpful in providing bus schedules, and directions to the tram from the apartment. A week was simply not enough!
Althought we arrived a bit late, Marina was more then happy to welcome us. We found exactly were we were looking for. A private space, with perfectly working wifi and all kitchen tools available. Nice neighborhood and nearby busstation.
We stayed with Marina for a month and didn't want to leave! The apartment had large windows with lovely views of the surrounding garden and fields, the kitchenette was well-equipped (I cooked dinner almost every night), and Marina was very helpful in every way--she even took my broken shoe to her cobbler to get fixed! We really liked the tranquillity of the neighborhood and the lovely terrace of the house. You can easily reach the center by bus or by about a 30 minute walk, but the house is also in an area with fields and trees and lots of birds, giving you the best of both worlds. I would definitely want to stay here again.
My girlfriend and I had a great stay in the flat, which consisted of the whole top floor of the house. Marina made us feel welcome, and was happy to provide maps and advice. The location is on the No.3 bus route, which was very convenient, or you can walk for about 30-40mins to reach the centre of Padua. All in all, no problems and I'd recommend to others.
Marina egy csodás házigazda. Mindig segítőkész és kedves volt. A villa csodálatos és a környék is kellemes hangulatot árasztott.
