From New York Time review: "Pigneto feels a world away from Rome’s tourist herds and ancient ruins, with a soundtrack of electronic pop music that spills out over sienna-hued courtyards, and nary a souvenir shop in sight. By day, locals shop for produce and sip cappuccinos on tree-filled terraces. At night, crowds of tattooed and stylishly top-knotted 20- and 30-somethings flock to open-air bars and upscale restaurants. Street art, like a metal store gate emblazoned with a Beyoncé-esque superhero and a spaceship, seems like a religion. Hotel chains have yet to venture here. A 10-minute bus ride from the arterial Termini station, Pigneto, Rome’s answer to Bushwick, Brooklyn, is an enclave of cool in the eternal city".
From e to Termini Station you can take tram 14 or 5.
Bus 81 bring you to the center directly.
In the night bus 12 for comeback from the center to home.

Our stay at Cinzia's apartment was great! The room and bathroom were clean, tidy and nice, the balcony was great and sunny. The apartment is well-connected with tram and bus line and in about 15 min you can reach Termini; so you are close to the heart of Rome. Cinzia was very helpful with all the information we needed and I definitely recommend her as a host for a pleasant stay in Rome!
Cinzia is a great host, very nice, her house is very clean and tidy. The balcony is great when it's sunny out to enjoy a nice evening. The neighborhood is very quiet and very close to the tram that brings you in the center in less than 10 minutes. Also, the apartment is located in the Pigneto area which is a good neighborhood to go out at night!
I recommend Cinzia with all my heart!
This was a really pleasant staying, cozy room with patio, not far from center and close to Termini, so no problems getting to and out. Thanks, Cinzia!
Cinzia was an amazing host! She is very sweet and speaks English extremely well. Her cat is actually very nice, even though I generally don't like cats. She was a pleasure to stay with!
Cinzia and Domenico are just AMAZING i just dont have words to describe how wonderfull, friendly and helpfull they were with us, the flat is just amazing, the room, the terrace, the bathroom, everything is really beautifull and inmmaculate!! you feel in your own house, even LUKE their tom cat is adorable!!! i can not think not in one little problem we have during our visit there in Rome. Also if you want to have one of the bests italian dinners you'll ever have you shoul visit the great restaurant Domenico al Pigneto, ten minutes walking from home. Also you are 15 minutes far from down town in tram which stops at 50 meters from Cinzias home!! here you will have an experience that you wont forget!!
Overall, Our stay at Cinzia's was ok. cinzia wasn't in Rome when we were there but her roomate fransesco met us and was friendly and helpful. The room was much smaller than we anticipated and the neighborhood not so pleasant to walk around in at night. The check in and check out hours were flexible but i'd recommend stating clearly when you are arriving and departing to avoid any misunderstandings. Luke the cat did come into our room, I forgot to check about the cat and had allergies all week- so all those allergic to cats- beware! Thanks!
I have enjoied my staying at the Cinzia's appartment even though she wasn't there at (website hidden) is a quite place and even at night time you can sleep well ; there is no noise from the city.
I was feeling me like home. Her place is quite convinient located. Tramline is going every 5min to the city (takes 10-15min to Termini) easy to get to restaurants and supermarkets. Directly in the real italian neighbourhood. She was really helpfull with everything and let me doing. It's clean, safe, quiet and confy. The big balcony door is going to a big terrace with a view to a ruin. In 10min walk was a pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants. Cheep and really good pizza. She is having a really cute cat named luke. But he didn't came into the room.
The reservation was canceled 25 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Cinzia's place is in a convenient location in Rome. A 15m tram ride to the main Termini station. Her place is right in front of a stop and the trams come very often. From there you can go anywhere in Rome.
Cinzia is a good host and gives you lots of privacy.. She even saved my trip by providing me with an IPhone 5 charger when mine was broken. stay here if you have the chance !
