The apartment is just as described. It's small but has everything you need and is nicely decorated. Very cosy and clean and we felt really at home. We were made to feel very welcome and had loads of help with maps and guides and suggestions and told we could ask for anything during our stay which was lovely. The bed is comfy, the shower amazing and the neighbourhood is great. We were a short walk from so many amazing restaurants and cafes and the metro is just 2 minutes away at the top of the avenue. A lovely base for a short stay in Paris which served us perfectly for our 5 day stay on our honeymoon!
We had great time in Paris. Thierry's flat is exactly as described, a cozy little pad with every appliances included, central location in easy commuting distance to all attractions. Slightly smaller than the photos but I guess its because we have three people. It would be perfect for two.
I didn't get to meet Thierry personally but both him and Hicham helped to make our stay much more comfortable and easier.
Hicham is very friendly and likable. He greeted us at the apartment on time and let us store luggage before the check-in time. He also patiently explained everything in the flat and gave some valuable advice on our visit. The communication has been perfect and very consistent.
I would love to be back again in the near future.
I found that communication was efficient and re-assuring.
I didn't know my exact arrival time in advance but Anthony made the process easy and met me at quite short notice.
He introduced me to the apartment a and made me feel comfortable with the equipment and systems. He made sure he was available to help with any queries at any time.
At the end of my stay I dealt with Hicham who again, made the check out process easy, and even offered to return a book i had left, to a friend in Paris
The apartment was easy to find thanks to very precise directions. His representative waited for us in front of the building and carried our heavy suitcases to the third floor. The studio is spotless and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped - and even better he left us snacks that we were free to eat. We felt extremely welcomed. The representative made some insightful suggestions on how best to explore Paris and was very accommodating. Thanks to his freebox we were able to make calls to the United States. We will be back at Thierry's place in no time.
My husband and I traveled around France and Spain for two weeks using Airbnb in almost every stop. Thierry was by far the most communicative. He answered questioned very promptly and was extremely accommodating. The space does seem smaller in real life than the photos and I did wish there was space for putting clothes away however the location was great. We had booked reservations at restaurants in advance of our trip and they were all within walking distance to Thierry's apartment.
We had a great stay. The apartment was very clean, central and comfortable. We were welcomed very warmly. I highly recommend this cosy 1 bedroom. Thanks!

About the Host, Thierry
Hi! I'm 35 and I've been living in Paris for more than a decade now. I was born and raised in the south of France, in and around Nice. Travelwise, I am a big fan of Taiwan, where I have made great friends in recent years. My main job is acting, and I also work in dubbing for cinema. Voilà, c'est moi!
I bought this little studio from a friend this year. He completely renovated not long before I bought it, with a view to offering a great, bright and cosy spot for visiting friends and other guests. It's been very popular since the first few days we started advertising it!
If this is the first time you're considering booking an apartment, you should be glad: you're about to discover how much better than a hotel it is! Staying in a self-catered apartment you get a better feel of the city, really. Shopping for food at the nearby market to prepare good meals with fresh local produce instead dining out all the time makes it feel much more like home. Having a pad where you can invite people over is also a great plus.
I hope you'll have a great time here. And if Parisians look grumpy, don't worry, it's just they're being like everyone else. When you smile at them and apologize for not speaking French (which IS a crime), they usually melt and are the friendliest people you'll meet (almost).
