About This Listing
Orangerie apartments are just next to the brewery gardens, in the heart of the city. The 16th century building has been renovated in 2013. The name Orangerie stands from the fact that the building hosted one of the first orangeries on the continent.
The house is located in the old city, about 2 minutes from the castle, in a small street next to the main walking street of the city. The old city is pedestrianized, but parking is possible in the yard, which is a unique possibility in the old Krumlov area.
The apartment Lime is an independent apartment on the ground floor of the big house with the huge garden. It is suitable for 2, with one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom all equipped. Extra sleeping or child equipment (bed, chair) can be placed at any time.
Arriving is after 1 pm, departure is before 11 am. Please alert us of late check-in (after 6pm)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orangerie Lime. The location was perfect, so close to everything yet tucked away from any street noise. The apartment had everything we needed, was lovely and clean and well appointed. We had great contact and communication with our host Eszter and we were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend staying here, it is so lovely to have space when you are travelling and the convenience of a cup of tea when you feel like it. We would have made use of the lovely garden space but the weather was against us there. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.
We had a great time in Cesky Krumlov! The host, Ezsther, was prompt in email response, and very professional. We had to modify the reservation about 6 days before the trip, as our plan changed, but there was no problem.
The room was big and clean, and she arranged a baby bed for our toddler daughter. The back of the building has a nice yard where our daughter was able to run around and enjoy the swing. The location was perfect. It is 2 minutes to the castle and steps away from the stores and restaurants, yet it is on a side street so it was very quiet. Actually, CK gets very quiet after 6pm! We enjoyed a stroll in the castle grounds and the lovely town at night as Ezsther arranged a babysitting after our toddler went to bed. (Thanks, Ezsther!)
We recommend the playground that has the cafe/beer garden next to it. We enjoyed drinking the Czech Budweiser while watching our daughter play with local kids. Thanks for the recommendation, Ezsther!
This was a very cute place, still in the old town but just across the river from the peninsula. It's on a side street, and very quiet. The room is very comfortable, and there is a large garden area in back. While we didn't meet Daniella, we were greeted by Eszter who gave us all the information we needed. Highly recommend. Don
A quite good stay in the small town! The house is big enough and the hostess is quite nice.
This quaint apartment was so perfect for us. It was in a great location, right in the middle of the old town. Near restaurants and cafes. Eszter was really great about the key pick up. We were unsure of our arrival time and she was very accommodating. She offered to get us a taxi for the morning of our departure as well. The apartment itself was clean and homey. The pillows and comforter were nice. The windows face a green courtyard/garden area. Thanks!
This is a fantastic place to stay in Cesky Krumlov--cozy, well-located, with all the amenities you need. Plus Daniela and the owner are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful if you need anything during your stay. I especially appreciated their flexibility, as my dates changed several times and it was always "no problem, let us know if you need anything." I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place.
