Rise’s House is more than a place to stay — it’s a gateway to over 15 cultural experiences in Nishio, “Little Kyoto.”

I'm Nishio’s first Tourism Ambassador, and I personally drive, interpret, and guide every experience. You can grind matcha in the tea room, visit miso and sake breweries, an eel farm, tea fields or a matcha factory, and make shrimp crackers or mini tatami mats with local owners and artisans.

The space
All three rooms are Japanese-style rooms. The Japanese style exterior and interior blend in with the historic castle town, and since the interior was renovated in June 2024, you can enjoy history and comfort at the same time.
The building's special feature is the tearoom space. With the help of various craftsmen in the city, we were able to create a tea room full of stories.
You can immerse yourself into the life of the local Japanese people.

At the Japan Student Association orientation, I was amazed to see 200 students, expressing their dream of visiting Japan.
