  • We had a nice stay at David's place. The room was clean and cosy – exactly what we needed for our stay in San Fran. Area is safe and close to everything (get bus nr 5 and you are golden). Great spot if you want to discover San Francisco

  • We found this to be a very convenient place from which to explore San Francisco, using a combination of busses and walking to get around. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a supermarket nearby as well.

  • David is so nice & cute! His flat is conveniently located for walking the city and getting a bit of authentic San Francisco. We easily visited Downtown, Valencia St (Mission District), Lower Haight, and Castro St., not to mention the famed "Painted Ladies" row houses (of Full House fame) are just about 2 blocks away. Definitely worth the price, couldn't have imagined a better situation.

  • Our stay at David's was excellent! The place was clean upon arrival and there was always someone who came by to tidy things up (not that it really needed it since we were pretty neat). The place itself is really neat and has a lot of his personal artwork and charm. He had a lot of the little amenities that we needed but didn't want to pack (blowdryers, hair straighteners, iron, linen, towels, etc.), so that was a plus. It was a block from the 5 and 22 bus stops which we ended up using a whole lot. The area's great and the neighbors were friendly. My friends and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking to spend some time near Alamo Square. If I come to visit, I will definitely look to book here again!! Thanks, David!

  • We never met David or Juan, but I had a fluent communication by email with David regarding our arrival. The apartment is well located; the room is a tad small but the bunk bed is okay. We used the kitchen, fridge and washer/dryer without a problem (wifi worked almost always, though the signal strength in our room was low). Our flatmates were kind, but we almost never interacted with them. It's a good place to stay, for sure. //

  • David helped me out when I needed a place to stay at the last minute. I contacted him late in the afternoon and he was able to get everything ready and gave me access to the flat by before 9pm. I was so grateful! The flat was clean and bright and exactly what I needed. The kitchen was homey and the bedroom was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The neighborhood is lovely, great architecture and centrally located. During my stay I texted David a few questions (availability for future nights, wifi password) and David responded nearly immediately and went above and beyond the call of basic "customer service".

  • Just recently stayed at David's place. Wow !! What an amazing host in an amazing place !! Check-in was super easy, the apartment.. right in the middle of Alamo square, was just perfect. This charming/warm old Victorian homes made me want to move in :) David came and met with me as soon as he could, and made sure I had everything I needed and showed me everything to know about the place. I was in san Francisco for school (this is great for ITMI student...very short commute) and it was perfect for my need at every level. Great shared kitchen with tea and coffee on the house, the laundry room was awesome and simple to use, was great not to have to go to laundry mat and able to cook meals at home. Really comfortable atmosphere and my bed was more comfortable than my own. The internet connection is 10 megabyte/sec so that was super great as well. Cable tv had 300+ channels. I was able to study no problem, no noise at all. Amazing location one block away from bus stop to downtown. Lots of shops, restaurant around and a huge supermarket 10 minutes away by foot. I strongly recommend David's place for whatever purpose your trip is. He is so helpful and friendly and so is the housekeeper :) Definitely a bargain pricewise compare to anything around there for that quality.... I was there for a few weeks and place of the same quality in that area would have cost me almost an extra thousand dollars !!! Look no further ..... :) Martin

  • Love this place!! I was in town performing on the SF Sketchfest & David's Victorian Flat was the perfect place to be able to head to at the end of a long, fun day. It's gorgeously decorated, feels homey & has all the amenities you could want! He's a great host, it's in a safe area & public transit it only a few blocks away... plus you're right next to the Full House park, how can you beat that?! Highly recommend, this will be my first choice every time I come to SF from now on.
