I live in a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Bethsda, one of the healthiest city in US situated in the DC metro area (15 minutes from Dupont Circle by metro). My apartment is located between Bethesda Metro Station and the famous Medical Center (NIH). My apartment is 7 minutes far from the Metro Red Line that quickly connect you to the heart of DC. The apartment is also situated in the perfect neighborhood full of restourants, a couple of nice bar, park, and an amazing gym (Equinox). Also you can find, walking distance, a Safeway grocery, a CVS and a Starbucks. There are six parking spots for guests in my building, so you more likely will find a spot for your car otherwise you can find parking spot outside. Take a look to my apartment: it is nice and clean and i like to share my apartment with nice and clean people. For more questions don't hesitate to ask me,
The only rules in my apartment is the respect. I think respect is the most important rule in the life; for example: the manager of my building don't allow to smoke inside the apartment; we have a beautiful and magical garden, just smoke outside if you really need it.
Luca was a great host, he even picked me up from the metro station by car and let me stay longer on the leaving day. The room was great, too, clean, perfectly located to the NIH and the red subway line to get downtown. I would definitely stay here again!!
I stayed for a meeting in Bethesda and everything was great. The apartment is just a few minutes walk to the central area of the town with lots of choices for food. Luca took me out and showed me the shortcut for the quick route to the restaurant area. It was January and freezing cold, which I was totally unprepared for, and Luca loaned me one of his scarves. And his ice scraper, which did not come with my rental car. He even let me use his parking place! This being an American suburb, it certainly helps to have a car. Getting from and back to Dulles Airport by car was easy. I'll almost certainly be back in the area for business again and would stay here again.
Luca is a really cool guy and an amazing host. Very amicable. Made me feel more like a friend crashing at his place than a stranger. Would do again!
Luca is a delightful host! I felt very lucky to have found his listing which was perfectly located within walking distance of a seminar I was taking. He accepted my reservation on very short notice. In our first communications he forewarned that I should be aware the apartment had limited air conditioning, and that bedrooms had been warm during the heat wave, but I reassured him that it would be OK for me. He provided two fans in my room to ensure my comfort, though I didn't need them much. We had a fortunate break in the weather. He also greeted me at the subway exit on my day of arrival to help me get to the apartment easily! He made sure I felt at ease, and provided me with helpful directions and maps for getting around Bethesda.
The apartment is small, clean and comfortable with cheerful decor. I had full privacy in my room, plenty of drawer and closet space for my clothes, and was able to sleep comfortably. I also made use of the kitchen, stored food for myself in the refrigerator, and used dining area for a few meals. We both had busy conflicting schedules, but we found some time for relaxed conversation a couple of times and I found Luca to be quite amiable, easy going, and interesting to talk to! I hope we will meet again sometime!
Fantastic time staying with Luca. He is helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We highly recommend staying with him!
