Stay in our premiere couples self-catering tree house with its own kitchen, braai (BBQ), and boma. Our thatched roofed tree house is elevated to afford the best view of the African wildlife and mountains. Close to Kruger Park or just relax in nature. No meals included - you must stop on your way for food. No restaurants in the area unless you prebook meals with us .
Stay in a tree house in the African Bush! Our wood and thatch tree house is elevated to get a great view of our wildlife and the sunset view of the mountains. We are on a wildlife reserve so giraffes, zebra, impala, birds, buffalo and more wander freely around and under the tree house. You can watch from the tree house or a short walk to the lodge building to watch the watering hole. The stars are amazing and you can enjoy them in the private boma after you have cooked on the fire. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with everything you need except the food. In the tree house you will have an ensuite bathroom with tub, toilet, sink, and a fun outside shower with views . The tree house is accessed with ramps not stairs.
You will have your own tree house which sleeps 2 people in a king or twin beds with real mattresses. Sheets, blankets, towels, kitchen linen are provided and the facility is served daily. The kitchen, boma, braai, and tree house are out of site of our other units so you will have privacy. You are welcome to use the pool, deck, and lounge at the main lodge; a 3 minute walk.
Interaction with guests
When you arrive onto our gated reserve, you will pay a conservation fee of R100 per car and we will greet you and show you the tree house. We are available if you have questions or problems. There may be other guests in our 3 other tree houses to mingle with. You must come prepared with food to make all your meals - we are remote and 45minutes from town. Come have a drink (or prebook meals) with us at our sister lodge, just 1 km down the road.
Other things to note
If you want to be served a few meals, we can quote for a few meals to be served at our sister lodge on the same reserve. At this same lodge you can experience the unique white lion conservation program where you can get close to two white lions and go on a walk with them. Followed by breakfast, dinner or drinks if you wish.
Quiet hours (no music) after 10pm
