About the Host, Wendy
I have called Gainesville home since 1985 and have found my niche in this old Florida style home situated close to UF. While very centrally located and within walking distance to UF, shopping, etc the property is remarkably private. The apartment space was added in order to have a private living area for my elderly father to call home if he should no longer want to or be able to live independently. Well, either through good genes or good luck he remains very healthy and active and has no intentions to live here anytime soon! So in the meantime, rather than have the space sit empty all the time, would love to share it via airbnb.
