Thank you Sofia for making our stay in Aveiro so comfortable and cozy. The guesthouse was perfect – clean, beautiful and well located.
All expectations were fulfilled. We highly recommend this place!
We had a very great time for the 2 days we spent in Sofia's guest house. Every thing was perfect , from the room to the breakfast in the morning. Sofia is an excellent host, really kind and available. The only bad point is that when the house is full of guest, you will have to be the first in the bath room to be sure to have warm water for your shower.
However, we highly recommand this place. Thank you Sofia!
Thank you for your comment and for staying there. It was my pleasure to know you and your girlfriend.
I just want to clarify about the hot water for bathing because what you have written is not correct. There is always hot water for bathing even if you're the last to take a shower. Sometimes, if the water does not get hot enough it's because the tap is opened badly. It must be wide open. The hot water here is stable and permanten, except in case of supply service failure.
All the best guys!
Sofia's cozy, clean house is in the perfect location to explore Aveiro and the surrounding area. Sofia gave good, clear directions, served a good breakfast, and was helpful and friendly.
This guesthouse is a charming place, well and warmly decorated. It is located in the most typical neiberhood of Aveiro. Sofia knows a lot about her city. She will gives you usefull advises to enjoy your stay in the beautiful Aveiro.
Casa Ponte Amarela is very beautiful and charming place, rooms are clean and cozy. We had also a little breakfast and homemade soap. We had to stay here only one night but we stayed two nights because of transport strike in Portugal. Sofia is very kind person. She was talking to us in french during breakfast and we didn't understand a word :) She didn't understand why we didn't responding, it was very funny. We absolutely recommend her apartment!
Sofia is a wonderful host with a warm smile and she will always make you feel at home. The house and my room was perfect and clean; I am 100% sure you will love your stay in this wonderful area of Portugal.
Sofia was welcoming and helpful. We loved her house which was beautifully and artistically decorated and the breakfast. It was great to be so close to the CBD, the canals, restaurants and a bus stop. We loved Aveiro and recommend it and Casa Ponte Amarela Guesthouse as great places to stay.
