You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Our large renovated apartment is ideal for a couple, Individual or family of three with plenty of space to spread out. The full kitchen area is fantastic to enjoy creating your meals or enjoy the many downtown restaurants right outside the front door. The large bedroom is furnished with a queen and a single bed. If you need extra space, there is a second bedroom that can be rented for an additional fee.

Temperature Control: If you would like to adjust the temperature once in your room, the remote is on the wall inside the clothing closet. Please ONLY use the arrow up or down button. Pushing multiple other buttons will cause the unit to shut off.
Parking: Between the hours of 5PM to 11AM paarking on the street in front of the apartment is readily available and always FREE, At 9am Mon-Sat it is limited to two hour parking so after 11AM if you are not going out sight seeing we recommend you move to the downtown lot which is half a block up on the left behind the Bedford County Visitors Center. It has a 4 hour limit from 9-5 Mon.-Sat. If you plan to be parked more than 4 hours during the day just be aware of the time limits and plan to move your vehicle as needed. Parking is generally easy with plenty of availability- except during Fall Foliage days in October.

Parking is usually readily available in front of our building from 5 pm- 10 am. During the day when stores are open we suggest to park one block back on S. Thomas street next to Bedford Candies. Of course you will need to stop in their shop and treat yourself to their famous chocolates and gourmet popcorn.

Welcome to our place. We are the McArthurs, Erich & Sharon. Sharon was born and raised in central PA and purchased the building in 1992 opening up her dream marketplace, Founders Crossing. In 2022, husband Erich joined in renovating the second floor to open up the Airbnb portion.
We enjoy meeting and hosting guests from all over the country and exploring new places ourselves. You may catch us on site, if not we are probably down south or out camping somewhere. ☺️
