About this listing
Private upstairs guest house overlooking Paradise Cove, Malibu. One bedroom, full bath and well equipped kitchen. Two balcony patios overlooking rolling hills to the ocean. Have your morning coffee on the balcony and then wander off to explore beautiful Malibu and the greater Los Angeles area.
You will be about a half mile walk to Paradise Cove Beach, or from 2 miles (Zuma Beach) to 7 miles (Malibu Beach) from world famous beaches. If you like to hike, we are walking distance from California State and National parklands that offer beautiful and varied terrains for hiking or biking (or horseback riding).
We are a mile or less from restaurants, and grocery stores, and 6 miles from "downtown" Malibu, where you will find movie theaters, shops and restaurants.
Two large comfy couches in living room can be made up as beds for two additional guests (total max 4 guests) and would be approximately twin bed sized each.
We live nearby on the same premises, and would expect that guests maintain the courtesy and quiet that we enjoy now. There is no smoking, no pets allowed. We would appreciate beach sand being washed off in the outdoor shower so as to avoid clogging the drains. Guests would have their own hours and will have their own key and parking space.
A great place to exhale!!! Loved the location which was removed from the larger concentration of people and homes closer to Santa Monica. Jennifer and Paul were very friendly and made us feel welcomed - at the same time, they were very respectful of our space. What I will remember most is lifting my head off the pillow and seeing the ocean, as well as the refreshing ocean breezes that came in the afternoons.
Very friendly, convenient and good location. Super smooth. Paul and Jennifer were great.
We had a wonderful week at the guest house. It was clean and very comfortable. The location was great with beautiful views from the the balconies. Jennifer and Paul were welcoming hosts and made our trip to Malibu a vacation we'll always remember.
About the Host, Jennifer And Paul
My husband and I like to be outdoors...hiking, riding, playing beach volleyball take up much of our free time. We like to travel, and have had fun meeting people from other places who come to stay at our guesthouse. While we like to visit the city, we enjoy the peace and quiet of living in a more rural area full time.
