Its very comfortable and ideal as a base whilst exploring the beauty that is Torquay, named the English Riviera due to its strong sunlight and magnificent coastline. Guest's can expect a warm welcome from us. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk from the apartment.Attractions within walking distance are a model village,a Victorian museum and wonderful views over Lyme Bay which gives a panoramic view of a quarter of the south coast of England..Further attractions such as bars, nightclubs, marinas, restaurants and retail shops are in Torquay 3 miles away at a cost of £2 on the bus. Torquay is where people come to holiday from either the rest of the UK or abroad. The unique position of Torquay within the lay of the bay and the wild barren hills of Dartmoor (National Park) gives it a mirco- climate that provides much warmer weather for longer than other parts of the UK which attracts the very essence of the French Riviera lifestyle with its cafe culture and lazy days around harbours and marinas until late into the evening. A truely wonderful place to visit.
Guests will have access to all the facilities in the house.
As often as guest would like, but respecting their privacy.
A quite area, close to the sea with wonderful views across the golf course and a village set in a valley. Many amenities including a quaint shopping precinct with cafes and bars.
Great bus service into town every 15minutes.
We wish to give all our guest a wonderful holiday experience so if you need me to drive you within the local area a couple of times during your stay that will be no trouble.
Perfect home base for exploring Torquay, Torbay, and Devon! Just a few minutes walk to the old market street of St. Mary Church filled with lots of authentic shops, restaurants, pubs, and more (try the carrot and ginger cakes at the bakery!). A couple more minutes walking will take you to the beautiful Babbacombe coastal area with incredible views of the sea and access to several coastal paths down to the beach, as well as more restaurants and a theater. Torquay city center is only a couple miles from the house, and easily reachable by bus or walking if you feel like exploring on foot. Steve and Julie are awesome hosts. Very welcoming and friendly, they made me feel like I was part of the family. The house and room are very comfortable, and allow for plenty of privacy to relax after exploring the area. Torbay is such a beautiful place, if you are thinking of visiting don't hesitate! And Steve and Julie are very kind, generous people who will give you a real sense of what life in Torquay is like. Highly recommended, exactly what an AirBnB experience should be!
Julie and Steve are very friendly and made us feel very welcome in their home. They are obviously glad to meet new people and make excellent hosts.
Steve and Julie were more than accommodating, they were kind a gracious hosts!
The accommodations were clean, comfortable and reasonable. But more than that, they both are warm and welcoming. I definitely enjoyed the short time I stayed there.
I definitely recommend booking with them!
Julie and Steve's flat is a great place to stay in! They are very welcoming and helpful with whatever you needed. Always ready for a talk with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Because the bigger room was occupied, I got a smaller one, but it was nice, comfortable and (website hidden). Murychurch is really lovely with small shops, restaurants, pubs and Babbacombe Beach isn't far away. There is a good bus service to the centre. I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you very much!
