William and his wife Laeti were great hosts. They were very friendly and welcoming, and were there for any help when you needed it. The house is as described, but would recommend only those comfortable with dogs to stay. They are willing to do things with you, or leave you to your own devices. Id definitely stay here again, Thanks William and family.

We enjoyed our stay with William and his family. Good insight into Bolivian life. William is a conscientious language teacher. Family has a cat and a dog which could be problematic if you have allergies. Lessons and city tours were a little on the expensive side compared to other Bolivian providers. Overall a very interesting experience.

I highly recommend Williams home stay experience for the best way to know the real La Paz. William and his wife are both extremely generous and showed me around the city, helping push my daughters pram when I was still too puffed from the altitude. They took me to local eating places which were cheap, delicious and patroned by only locals. They showed me insights into the city and culture than only a local can. If you want an authentic experience in Bolivia this is the one. The flat is very close to the city centre, many banks, restaurants and public transport. William met me at the bus station which was also extremely helpful. He communicated clearly beforehand with helpful information. His wife is very friendly, the two boys also friendly and really well behaved and the room is big and comfortable.

William and his family were wonderful hosts during my time in La Paz. He was more than happy to help me out with any issue, be it accompanying me to the pharmacy as I had the flu, or helping me sort out a tour to Puno, saving me considerable money. His walking tour of the city is a fantastic way to acquaint yourself with the city and see parts other tourists may miss. The house is a 20 minute walk from the tourist district and there are local buses just around the corner from his place. I shared with another traveller in a large room with a great view of the houses on mountain. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying at Williams' if you want a taste of the Bolivian lifestyle.

William and his family were welcoming hosts. Book his place for an instant immersion into Bolivian family life. The location of the house is quite convenient - it's a pleasant 20 minute walk to most attractions in the city, and minibuses that stop in front of their house take you to most parts of the city. Do keep in mind that the actual bedroom looks quite different from the photo (I hope it gets updated).

It has been an amazing experience. Being able to live with a Bolivian family, experience and be part of their everyday life. The lunch the family provided is outstanding. Easily the best lunch I had in la paz every day!! The Spanish lessons were great as well. It's customized to my progress, private one on one lessons and the enthusiasm that william brings to the table just pours into every lesson.

William came to meet us from our bus from Copacabana and waited an extra hour as the bus was late. Thank you William. He and his family were always warm and welcoming. we enjoyed eating lunch with the family on two occasions and can recommend Leticia's cooking which was delicious. Breakfast was very simple, on one occasion just bread and a hot drink. Our walking tour was an excellent introduction to the city. We felt we saw many things we would not have seen on our own. However the walk took six hours and at 70b an hour for 2 of us it worked out more expensive than we had expected. We suggested to William that it would be a good idea to have a list of all prices for one and more people clearly displayed. Our bedroom was large and had lovely rooftop views of the city. We would have preferred if the cats did not have access to the upper floor as our room sometimes had a catty smell. We had a number of Spanish lessons with William. These were very useful and we covered a lot of ground. William used a pen and paper instead of the white board when teaching. Subsequently I have found it very helpful to read over these notes which he gave us at the end of each lesson. At the end of our stay we really felt that we had had a positive experience of Bolivian family life. William and his family were always very flexible and helpful in many ways including; making phone calls regarding our future arrangements, helping us carry bags up and down the hill and helping us get taxis and buses. Highly recommended.

I like meeting people from all around the world and when I can or if they want to, I teach them Spanish through English or French.

I have taught Spanish and English for more than two decades in La Paz. since languages are my passion and I know through them we can build a bridge between cultures.

Every human being is different, so I enjoy discovering the different cultural aspects and similarities too.

We love to have guests in our house and treat them as part of the family, so they could feel at home. Therefore, we always make sure that they could get the most of this experience during their stay.

In my spare time I like to play soccer with friends or sometimes with our guests who are healthy enough to play at 3600 mts!!

I find Airbnb fantastic and very benefitial and useful both for guests and hosts, so each one should get a great cultural experience.

Feel very welcome in our house!!!
