The remodeled bathroom has HEATED Turkish Travertine floors, fluffy white towels, a shower over tub, a mahogany vanity and a skylight flooding it with natural light.
It is very well located, within a block and a half of the most famous and picturesque part of San Francisco – Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies, (Alamo Square is a gorgeous park with lush greenery perched on top of a hill, which looks towards the Painted Ladies - which are 7 beautifully maintained Victorians and have a backdrop of the San Francisco skyline)
The location has a WALK SCORE of 95!!
You can easily stroll (5-10 min walk) over to several of the hippest areas in town. One block east, and a few blocks north is the Fillmore Street Jazz District, where you will find numerous music venues, including the well known “Fillmore”, the sophisticated “Yoshis”, the swanky “1300 on Fillmore”, the popular “Boom Boom Room”… and my favorite “Sheba Lounge” (I love it because it has couches and a fireplace) You will also find several cafes and restaurants along the way. If you walk further north, you start to hit Upper Fillmore, where you will find high-end boutiques, restaurants and 2 movie theaters.
Three blocks west, you are at the Divisadero Corridor – which has dozens of cool cafes, bars and restaurants and the super hip music venue “The Independent”. The street also boasts several organic grocery stores, including the crazed “Bi-Rite” (patrons can’t stop raving about their ice-cream!)
Lower Height is also about a 15 min walk south, where you will find lots of cool dive bars and tasty inexpensive restaurants. If you want to walk a little longer (about 15-20 min southeast) you can also explore the uber trendy Hayes Valley, which is teaming with high-end boutiques, 5 star restaurants, wine bars and cafes.
Since the unit is so centrally located, it’s also an easy drive to almost any of the coolest locations in town (within 8-15 minutes), including the Marina, the Mission, the Castro, North Beach or Downtown Union Square.
My location is so ideal because you can walk to hundreds of cafes, restaurants, music venues and beautiful parks within minutes... But my home is like a sanctuary amidst the activity of the city. Its very beautiful and quiet and has 2 private decks, and a shared garden with dozens of blooming flowers.
Easy walk to cafes, restaurants... No one buses around anymore - they just call an Uber or a Lyft or a taxi!
I have gorgeous wood furnishings, so please use coasters or placemats to protect the wood.
Please let me know if advance if you will be needing the parking spot so I can leave a remote control for you.
Let me know if you need a coffee maker. ;-)
Enjoy your stay!
Silvia was super flexible with check-in time. We both had prior engagements the day I arrived and she was very on top responding to texts and changes in arrival time.
Her apartment was wonderful! I really enjoyed the heated tile floor in the bathroom and skylights (kitchen & bathroom). Being on the top floor really paid off. The wifi and cable TV worked flawlessly.
The location was great! I was able to walk most places throughout the city because of its central location. Tasty restaurants in close proximity.
I would stay here again :)
We had a great experience at Silvia's. The listing description was accurate. The location was great. The apartment was great. Silvia was available when we had questions and issues. Thanks Silvia!
Silvias place was amazing and the neighborhood/area was incredible! Super close to Alamo Square, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Shops and restaurants were in walking distance. To get in touch with Silvia was easy and great, she answered very fast to all of our questions.
I would definitely recommend this place!!
Sylvia approved my request very quickly and was in contact as needed, questions answered right away. I was met upon arrival & toured apartment - including directions/instructions w/parking in building garage. Kind, respectful ~ went out of her way to ensure a positive experience! Thank you!!
This was a amazing experience. If your lucky enough to stay here count yourself lucky. UCLA/Cal Bears only so Trojans stay out.
Silvia's is a lovely apartment in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and expoloring the surrounding neighborhoods. The apartment lived up to its description and photos. We came with our (non-mobile) 6 month old and found the apartment baby-friendly and easy to be in from that perspective as well.
We had a great time at Sylvia's place. The location is ideal and the apartment itself is sunny, spacious and lovely. The porch/patio areas had lovely plantings, the kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood has lots of great places to eat or pick up food. Highly recommend!

Originally from the Bay Area, have lived in SF for over 14 years and still think it's one of the best cities in the world. I love to travel, and have been blessed with having the opportunity to explore over 46 countries! Both my parents are foreign (one is Dutch, born and raised in Indonesia, and the other half Spanish, born and raised in Mexico). So I feel at home with foreigners and have had the travel bug since I was quite young.
I love to share this enchanting city with others. San Francisco is so diverse - I never get tired of it's beauty - particularly my local park up at Alamo Square, as well as other parts of the city including the Marina, the Presidio, and all the restaurants near my home along Divisadero and Fillmore.
I hope you love my city as much as I do!
