"Casa Renata" is nestled to the hill in the outskirt of an ancient village surounded by olive groves of the lovely ligurian countryside. Sunny terrace, little shady garden, generous sleeping rooms, one bathroom, kitchen with all comforts. 2-6 persons

The space
“Casa Renata” is located on a southwestern slope and forms the final link of a typical Ligurian mountain village in the hills. It is characterized by a spacious shape and sugestive materials. The main entrance leads into a two-floors living-room with fireplace and a large loft window where you can enjoy a fantastic view on the lush green olive groves. The floor of the living-room and the stairs are designed with slate, all other floors with terracotta tiles. Also the kitchen’s surfaces are made of black slate, so you have a black and white aesthetic. The integrated kitchen offers all the comfort. A stairway connects the entrance level with a gallery-like living-room that opens up with a huge loft window to a pleasant terrace that releases a magnificent view on the sea, the valley and the mountains.
There are two contiguous bedrooms on two levels with airy vaults and large windows. Upstairs there is one kingsize and one single bed room, downstairs one double and one small double bed room. The bathroom is located halfway up the stairs, it is renovated but not modernized.
warning: The house is on three levels, you will have to climb a few stairs.

The hinterland of Imperia is very attractive because of the magnificent nature, there are still intact villages and regional festivals at different seasons. The region is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding (stables in Dolcedo). Ripalta is a district of medieval Dolcedo and is 7 km away from the sea, surrounded by the open countryside. It is the starting point for wonderful hiking excursions from the olive groves to the alpine meadows of Mount Faudo or down into the valley to the old Romanesque natural stone bridge over the river "Rio del Bosco" with the refreshing wild swimming pools.
Dolcedo is reachable within 5-10 min walk and finds all daily facilities such as shops, restaurants and cultural events.

Down by the sea the costline attracts truly authentic Italian life, Porto Maurizio with a beautiful Old Town Hill and his widely-developed marina, a typical sandy beach with sun loungers or smaller bays with pebbles. Golfing is possible in San Remo (17 km) or in Alassio (25 kilometers). Imperia offers tennis courts and an indoor swimming pool. Twice a week there is also a large market for chic clothing, leather goods and super fresh generic food. Cyclists can now cycle for kilometers along the coastline, the former railway line has been transformed into a bikeway. (from San Lorenzo to San Remo / Bicycle rentals on site).
