Deborah met us upon arrival as arranged with our host Nancy. We immediately settled into our "hideaway" for the next few days. The design and location is in the style of the Ocean Park neighborhood which was exactly like I had hoped and as described on Air B&B. I had moved from Ocean Park 15 years ago and wanted to explore the place I remembered. A newer coffee shop Urth Caffé was down the block and a great find. Older favorite restaurants within walking distance had the same atmosphere as years ago. We enjoyed the old and new shops as well as bicycling along the beach three blocks away. Host Nancy and the cat Jack Black came by before we departed. The neighborhood and the "hideaway" will get a return visit one day.
Nancy met us in front of the house right on time. The listing was accurate and she gave us all the information we'd need for a delightful stay. Location was fantastic...very close to the beach and restaurants and shopping. 100 year old house, rare for southern CA but well kept and adorable. Nice artistic touches. We'd definitely stay here again.
Very convenient to shopping, beach, fine restaurant. Since it was a layover stay for me from my trip back from the Philippines and with two heavy luggages, I had a difficult time transporting them from the car to the unit and back, as the pathway leading to the unit was irregularly built. Overall the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and Deborah was at the Unit. to welcome me .
Nancy was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We loved her place, and it felt like a home away from home. It was equipped with everything we wanted. We had lots of privacy, but Nancy was only a phone call away if we needed anything
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Santa Monica. Part of that joy was because our fine host Nancy. Who is a very warm and gentle person.

Nancy was a great host and her place was perfect for our weekend in LA. We appreciated her checking in on us and how well equipped her place was.
