Charming house in exclusive Cape Elizabeth beach neighborhood. Unique in nature, as the house sits on a serene lot with large vegetable gardens, flower gardens, and chickens within a quaint, close knit neighborhood. House is tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Just 8 minutes from downtown Portland, walking distance to Portland Headlight (finish to Beach to Beacon). Enjoy many beautiful local beaches, within walking distance to the house. Peaceful coastal oasis.

The space
Our house is tastefully decorated, yet comfortable. We love interesting textiles, art and plants. The first floor is comprised of an open concept kitchen/dining room, a comfortable living room with a tv, a den with a great reading chair and daybed (also can be used for sleeping) and a lovely screened in sun room, also with a day bed. There is a half bath on the first floor. The second floor is comprised of three bedrooms and a full bath. This is our primary residence, so there will be signs of life in the house! Though we will have clothes in the closets, there will be ample room for guest's belongings. Our property is like a small urban farm...big vegetable gardens, guests are welcome to pick from. We also have chickens, who live in their run while we are away. Guests are welcome to collect eggs if they wish, but have no responsibility for the girls during their stay. We have a neighbor check in on them periodically. We will have a bee hive on the property this summer. We ask that guests remove their shoes at the door, as we are a shoe-free house. We will try to be flexible if we can be in regards to length of stay and check in/out times.
