This house is just a few meters away from the sea side (in Balluta Bay, St.Julians - MALTA). It has 2 main bedrooms one with ensuite and both with balconies, and another bedroom with 2 single beds and with ensuite (including bathroom). The house has a kitchen, a spare toilet and a living room. This house also has a small yard and a large roof space.
The House is close to all the amenities; the shopping area in Sliema (Tigne Point), Police Station, door to door grocery shop and bakery (where you can taste the Maltese bread )
Also 2 minutes away from a number of Mediterranean restaurants. Walking on the sea front you will be 5 minutes away from the famous place called Paceville in St'Julians.
Bus Stops and taxes are both available in the area.
It is full of light with spacious bedrooms.
Francesca was a very good host. She replied to all my questions within a few minutes. Her home is amazing. A very typical Maltese house right in the center of Silema. The house is very big. It could accommodate 8 people. It is in a quiet but central area of Silema. I would definetely come back again.

I didn't read the other comments, which I probably should have. I just got distracted by the description.
1) Fran is very helpful and made us feel welcome!
2) It is just a short walk down the hill to Sliema and public transport.
3) The shop next door is well-stocked.
4) The mattresses in the main bedrooms are good.
5) Transport to/from airport is a wonderful service provided.
1) The two main bedrooms are adjoining rooms, so access to one only by walking through the other one!
2) The ensuite is just a toilet and sink.
3) Access to the bathroom with shower is through the twin bedroom.
4) The shower has minimal water pressure and no curtain or walls. The sink is tiny.
5) Wifi works only in the two main bedrooms, but neither have a desk.
6) The "balconies" are only enclosed windows.
7) There is no air-conditioning. (Fans provided some relief, but are loud so bring ear plugs.)
8) The place looks and feels neglected. It was Grandma's home and is in dire need of some attention.
9) Lots of mosquitoes, lots of dust.
10) Only the back bedroom has any place to hang clothes. Much of the old furniture is full of stuff.

I found that Francesca was very quick to respond to my request to stay, and I'm glad she was as I was already in the country and needed a place urgently.
However, I didn't have much time to read the reviews properly before staying.
The HOUSE (not apartment) is located in a very nice and quiet area in SIiema, more so St. Julians. Close to loads of restaurants and a super market (don't purchase too much if you can't handle walking up hill to take it back). There is also a little corner store next door and around the corner (this one is open on Sunday's)
Although, I was rushed and a little unexpected the house looked clean until I realised that as other comments state the coat handers were still dusty, the microwave I avoided using and the shower had hair clogging the drain (which I used the hanger to dig out). Charging a cleaning fee I think is fair if the place gets cleaned once a week, not just after someone leaves.
The house also had a bigger problem, the fact that the vents in the wall and windows did not have any insect protection I got bitten VERY badly - this to me would be a very big issue.
I left insect repellant for anyone who stays there next. To me the only pro for this stay was that it was near to where I needed to be and even though I didn't need it, the place is HUGE and would be great for big groups of people not just one person.
I enjoyed my stay. I had clear directions about taking the X2 bus to Sleima, where Francesca's mother met me. It's about a 10 minute walk uphill to the apt, so be prepared. The apartment is a lovely traditional Malta apartment, with a lovely marble staircase from the living area to the bedrooms, which have nice natural light and air circulation from windows and plenty of fans (but no AC). The kitchen is OK for breakfast and heating up food in the microwave--no coffee maker, as instant seems to be the standard way of doing coffee. I got a 10 euro espresso pot at a local store called Spoons that worked fine for morning coffee. Eating out is cheap and good. There are two half baths, one off the kitchen downstairs, and one off the main bedroom. The main bathroom with shower, washer (a very old semi-manual machine that cleaned well), and toilet is off the twin bed room, so it is good for a couple or family, but the main bath requires going through the twin room, and one guest room is entered via the main bedroom, both with double beds. None of the bedrooms is totally private, as they all have other traffic going through them.
Well located for sightseeing-- a 10 min walk downhill to the harbor and major bus stops. There is also a bus stop at the police station, just 3 short blocks away, where the 21 bus stops on its way to Valletta, and it goes every 20 min. The nearest supermarket is a half mile away at Park Towers, which is where I found ground coffee (not instant) and breakfast supplies. The store next door to the apt is OK for emergencies, but not much more than that.
We had a lovely stay at Francesca's house. Her mother met us at the bus stop (we took the bus from the airport) and went so far as to get on the bus to make sure she found us and we got off at the right stop! Both Francesca (by Airbnb and text message) and her mother were very kind and helpful. Francesca replied promptly to my messages. The house is in a quiet residential area, there was some construction going on nearby but otherwise was very peaceful. It's a short walking distance to both Balluta Bay and the downtown Sliema area. The house was very spacious, and we felt at home there. Only minor complaint, the hangers in the wardrobe were dusty, but it wasn't a big issue. Would stay again if I'm in Malta!
