Our summer house has a lovely location between the forest and open fields. Build as a farm house in the early part of last century it has remained its original charm. The forest that borders Janstorp is a local nature reserve with several good hiking trails. From July onwards berries and mushrooms are plentiful. Secluded but very close to town of Nyköping and beaches. Not far from Stockholm Skavsta Airport.

The space
The main building at Janstorp comfortable accommodates a family or a group of friends. On the ground floor there is a large living room, a kitchen and bathroom and upstairs two bed rooms . The kitchen and living room each have one stove. Fire wood is supplied. A recent addition is a porch in front of the house with great views of the garden and surroundings. A nice place to sit if the evening is chilly.

Deers, foxes, pheasants and eagles visit regularly. Elks and boars are more shy but inhabit the nearby forest.
The forest that borders to Janstorp is a local nature reserve with several good hiking trails.
From July and onwards berries and mushrooms are plentiful. In the garden we have wild strawberries, rhubarb, raspberries, black currant, strawberries, herbs, vegetables and potatoes.
