The space

*Glamping Space*
Our canvas safari tent is located in the far back of our property, a short walk to the main house. It comfortably accommodates 3 guests with a full bed and a twin bed. Right across, you'll find our covered outdoor hangout spot! It's equipped with foosball, ample seating for your entire group, a dart board, and an outdoor shower and sink. We provide linens for each bed and a solar camping light. Please note, there is NO POWER at the glamping site, only water.
*House Living Space*
Step into our open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area—a seamless blend of functionality and comfort. Here, you'll find a convenient workspace nestled within the living room, offering the perfect balance for both relaxation and productivity during your stay

Lake lure is reopening 20th for non-motorized boating (kayaking, paddle boarding, canoe, swimming)!
If you would like to know unique places in the mountains of NC, the property is in the middle of all the fun: Located 18 minutes from Lake Lure beach, 24 minutes from Chimney Rock State Park, 23 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center, also 5 minutes from the historic Town of Rutherfordton, where you will find restaurants and shops. The North Carolina mountain area has many places to visit such as lakes, caves, waterfalls, fishing spots, hiking, biking or horseback riding. If you like more adventure, we are less than 10 minutes from river tubing, rafting, kayaking, ziplines, UTV and motocross areas.
We lovingly make our modern country house available to disconnect you and live unique moments with your loved ones.
We allow a pet with our pet fee.
Please be mindful that leaving doors and windows open may invite some local critters indoors. Embrace the mountain experience, but if you prefer to keep nature outside, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed during your stay. Our camping experience is also subject to critter encounters, please refrain from bringing food to that area and leaving food or trash around. NC has some wonderful wildlife that can smell from miles away, so please practice caution in leaving food/trash outside or in the tent.
Our camping site does not have hot water, power or a toilet. Our main house does have all of this so you will need to utilize the house when needed.
NATURE NOTE:
Being surrounded by the woods means you’re truly one with nature! While we do have regular pest control, you may still encounter a few adventurous insects.
We try to accommodate early check in’s for $25 per hour and can confirm only on the day of check in. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate late check outs. Unapproved early check-in or late check-out will result in a $50 fee.
We don't allow check in's or out's on 4th of July, Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New years day.
