The house rules are fairly simple:
1. Treat the place as you would like someone to treat your own house if the situation was reversed
2. No smoking in the house, infact no fire in general please!
3. Have fun but don't bring the party home
4. Respect is the key word
The apartment was top notch. Clean, cozy and located in a nice and soft neighbourhood. We used the kitchen a lot and it had everything you needed for making a nice dinner. There were also some very good supplies of food already in place so that you didn't need to rush to the supermarket first thing when arriving. Communication with Nic was easy and responses from him were quick and informative. One of the better hosts I have experienced.
Everything was great - really appreciated Nic's accessibility and openness about everything.
This was a great stay beginning with extreme flexibility and understanding for my early check-in. Then the hosts really think of little details to make your stay more comfortable from toiletries, hairdryer, Netflix, umbrellas, air fresheners, good quality linens and towels. The place is simple, yet cozy and clean. The building is quiet and the area where it's located has amazing places to eat and drink. We ate pizza at Motorino and Artichoke, both highly recommended. Oh and they also gave a great list of things to do and places to eat, so I really appreciated the local recommendations. Thank you!!
My first trip to New York and I couldn't have stayed in a better location. As a food lover I was spoilt for choice as you can practically walk five to ten minutes in any direction and find a variety of food choices. The apartment is a short walk to the subway, easy for getting to either downtown Manhattan or Brooklyn.
The apartment is comfortable, cosy and has everything you need for a holiday. I can highly recommend staying here. The host was excellent every step of the way.
Nic & Tash were incredible hosts who made their lovely apartment feel like home. They provided ample amounts of toiletries, supplies and snacks, which made it better than a hotel in my opinion. There were 3 adults in our party, and we never felt crammed despite the small square footage. The beds were comfortable and Apple TV was also provided, which was a great way to wind down at night. The area is surrounded by trendy restaurants and it is very easy to get around to the main attractions of NYC.
If you would like to live like a new yorker for a few days in a cozy, clean apartment with hosts that make you feel more than welcome, then this is the perfect place! The next time I need a place to stay in NYC, I will certainly book here again.
