Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We chose Nick and Tash's apartment as we were 3 adults requiring 3 beds, and we wanted to experience New York like a native, we'd also heard the East Village was a good place to stay. We had been let down by our previous choice of accommodation at the eleventh hour and were very relieved when our reservation of the apartment was accepted.

It was everything we wanted: 3 comfortable beds, clean and exactly as described. The area lived up to it's billing, we ate locally and excellent restaurants and cafes and even found a bar showing an important Liverpool FC match nearby.

We walked to Times Square which took a while but took us past the Empire State Building, up 5th Avenue, up the Rockerfeller Centre. The subway took us to the Brooklyn Bridge and 9/11 Memorial and numerous other places.

We had a great time and Nic and Tash were very responsive to our few queries. They were also able to let us check out a few hours later than we should to fit in with our flight.

  • Great Place. Very helpful host.

  • It was my first time booking with Airbnbn and I don’t regret it at all. Nic and Tash are the perfect hosts with a great apartment (for NYC standards). They were very accommodating with our late check-in and responded promptly to our questions. The place is well equipped and roomy enough to accomodate 2 couples. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet with plenty of bars and restaurants. We had a good time and will definitely come back.

  • Nic and Tash's place was exactly what we needed and we had a great time there. The check in was easy, and we found everything we needed in the apartment. The apartment is in a great location and was really comfortable and clean.

  • We had a good experience with Nick &Tash place. The flat looks exactly like in the pictures. Very good location. The flat is well equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances, tv and wi-fi. Its ideal for a couple but 3 persons (we were 3 adults) can also manage quite comfortably. Subway (14 st. and Avenue A) is about 7-8 minutes walk. Union Sq.-15 minutes. Central heating system becomes a bit noisy at night but this was probably due to the very cold nights during our stay. The check-in went smoothly although we arrived quite early in the morning and Nick&Tash were always available, replied immediately to our minor querries and gave us the feeling we can count on them.

  • Nic'a place is really nice and clean. This is my first time using air bnb and I think it is a pretty good start. East village is very different Times Square and if you want to experience some local life this is the option. Nic is really kind and although we have not met but he answer every questions quickly and even prepare fresh fruit for our staying. The house is clean and quite and is perfect for friends or family.

  • I had some friends visiting that I was hosting and this apartment was the perfect place for us to stay. In terms of location and value, I find it hard to believe you could do better than Nic & Tash's apartment. It is right in the heart of where young people want to be, great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within short walking distance. Nic & Tash were very accommodating with communication before and even allowed me to pick up the keys much later than expected when my friends' flight was delayed. I'm going to remember this place next time I need a place for myself and a couple friends in the city.

  • Great apartment in a great location. Nic and Tash were great as we arrived very late for checkin.

    January 2014
  • Had a good stay at the apartment in the East Village. The communication with Nic & Tash was always good and fast. We have not met them, but everything was as expected.
We stayed in the apartment with 4 people: 2 adults, 2 children. This is not roomy, but it was ok. We could all sleep well and had enough space for our stuff.
The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We quickly chose the B Cup Cafe on the corner of 13th and Avenue B as our daily breakfast hangout. Great spot!
Public transportation is not very close, at least not for small children. But as the subway with 4 people is about as expensive as a Taxi, this was not a problem for us.

  • Nic and Tash were the perfect hosts with a great apartment. It was well equipped, cosy and centrally located in the East Village. You're close enough to everything via public transport and taxi's if you're going out at night (though the neighborhood it's located in has lots to offer itself, including cute restaurants, bars and cafes.) My friend and I enjoyed our stay here very much! We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
