My son and I stayed at Peter's lovely apartments for the entire month of February. We go to LA every year during this time always using Airbnb to find accommodations. This was by far our best experience. We actually stayed at (2) of Peter's apartments as this one wasn't ready until the second week of our stay...both were equally charming. The units are clean, bright and well appointed, stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The neighborhood is safe and the location is perfect for getting around LA....only 10 or 15 minutes away from anything. Peter (and John) are EXTREMELY accommodating and attentive to your needs and Dobrina (the housekeeper) is very pleasant and keeps things spic and span. You will not go wrong if you book your stay here!!! Thank you so much Peter for everything....we miss it already!!
We stayed with Peter for a month and could not have wished for a better place to live. The apartment instantly felt like a home to come back to after a busy day or a long trip away from Los Angeles. Absolutely perfect. The apartment was equipped with everything you need and nicely decorated. There were always plenty of parking and Peter have really made the whole place into a green oasis. Very relaxing and good for us who traveled with a toddler. Peter and John were both incredibly nice and helpful when we had questions or needed help with something. We hope we get to meet them again, and our toddler hoping to meet the incredibly nice dogs again. If we come back, this is where we will stay
Wow! After a two week vacation over the holidays, my husband and I got caught in the Polar Vortex weather delays, and were unable to get back to Chicago when our flight was cancelled. Being unexpectedly stuck in LA was lucky enough, but, discovering Peter's place was the best good fortune of all. He was the best host, available when we needed to ask a question, but, otherwise never bothered us. His place is perfectly laid out, furnished, stocked and arranged for comfort and efficiency, with even a washer and dryer in the unit. The location is prime, and you can walk two blocks to Sunset Junction where you have coffee shops, bars, restaurants and shopping all right there. You will never want to leave! We are (website hidden) vacation rental owners, so we know the drill, and this place is top of the line in all ways!
Highly recommend. These are quiet apartments that feel private and secluded yet in an amazing location, in the heart of the best that Silver Lake has to offer. Peter and his dogs are friendly and accommodating. The hot tub is a nice perk. We enjoyed the private patio off the back as well. Cafe Stella and the adjoining bar on Sunset is a must.
Excellent stay! Peter was a gracious host. The house felt private and cozy. It was very well equipped including laundry and kitchenware. A great location in the city.
A great place to stay! A stone's throw from Sunset Junction with nice restaurants and shops. Peter and John are terrific hosts. Our 11 month old daughter made friends with the dogs. We stayed for five weeks and would gladly return!
Peter was very thoughtful and accommodating. He blocked off a little area in the backyard for our pug so that his very friendly but large dog would leave the little guy in peace. We had chocolates and wine upon arrival and the hot tub looked fantastic although we were unfortunately too busy to ever take a dip. We also loved the neighborhood and the ability to walk to multiple restaurants and specialty shops.
We loved staying here - and it's true, it's even better in real life than it is on the photos. It's super clean and quiet, and in walking distance of beautiful things. We will make it our business to go back and test the hot tub asap! Thank you Peter also for the excellent suggestions and poetic intel on the neighbourhood highlights. X
I couldn't imagine a more helpful and pleasant host than Peter. The apartment was comfortable, well situated within walking distance of Silverlake shops and restaurants - perfect for us. You can't go wrong here.
This was the perfect location and loveliest little bungalow. We would LOVE to stay here again in the future. Parking is a breeze on this street and the apt is two blocks from Sunset Blvd and the heart of Silver Lake. Peter was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the place was very clean and comfortable. Thank you!!
