Enjoy Harbor Country's coolest town while staying on a wooded property at the end of a quiet private lane. We're close to Warren Dunes and beach, Greenbush Brewery, Wineries, U-Pick Farms and more. Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Union Pier are a short drive away. But you may never want to leave the backyard with its hammock, porch, and fire pit.

The space
We've put even more love into our house in 2019 (photos coming soon!)
- Brand new (and much quieter!) high end AC + HVAC System
- Fresh paint job and smooooooooth bedroom walls
- Updated bedroom and entry lighting
- New bed spreads and other goodies
- New beach gear for you to borrow
- Firmer mattress option
- Updated library of books you can borrow for your stay

The Property
Nearly two serene wooded acres, with a fire pit and a screened in porch that’s complete with a dining set, comfy chairs, and those outdoor string lights we all love.

The Bedrooms
Newer memory foam beds with quality linens and a variety of pillows to choose from. One bed is firm, the other is medium.

Living Room
Has a queen sized sofa bed as well as a twin day bed. There's a small TV that isn't connected to cable or antenna but there are plenty of DVD's to choose from. We have it connected to the internet so you can log in to your Netflix or Hulu accounts but this is some times spotty.

The Kitchen
Small but mighty! Complete with quality pots and pans (Calphalon! Le Creuset!) spices, and oils for cooking. The fridge is always stocked with various condiments you are also welcome to use.

We are coffee lovers so there's a variety of tools like a hand grinder and Aeropress. You can also use the traditional coffee pot if you prefer.

Dining Room
Quality dinnerware, plenty of wine glasses, and utensils including steak knives for those steaks (or vegan steaks if that’s your thing) you’ll be making on our Weber Spirit. Enjoy it all on our 8ft rustic dining table or outside on the porch.

Mud Room
With beach gear (various chairs, umbrellas, coolers) and a clothesline to dry towels, bathing suits etc.

Bathroom
Clean, cute and compact: the bathroom has one stand up shower that is comfortable for one average sized adult.

Guest access
Enjoy the house! The basement, locked closets, and garage are off limits to guests.

Other things to note
* We will be respecting all local stay at home orders and availability will reflect this.

* We will be following recommended cleaning protocols.

* Pine After Pine cottage welcomes travelers who share our commitment to an open and inclusive community. We want to make sure everyone -- including LGBTQ folks, people of color, and international travelers -- feels welcome and safe both in our home and our community.

* Unlike other properties, we do not charge a cleaning fee. You'll find the clean and ready for you to use, and we just ask that you leave it in good order.

* You're free to use the beach gear in the hall closet. This means you can save room in your trunk for other stuff.

* 4 adults max. The house is uncomfortable for more than 4 people, so this is both for your protection and ours. It may also not be suitable for toddlers as there is no bathtub.

* No pets (we're allergic, and we'll know right away if you bring them so we'll have to charge you $500 for deep cleaning. (Same goes for smoking in the house)

* BYO TV access. There's a smartTV + internet, but no TV channels. There there are plenty of DVD’s (and board games!)

* No bathtub (only stand up shower)

* No washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby and a space to dry things in the mudroom.

* Like most AirBnB's, we do not provide daily housekeeping. Each guest will receive a hand towel, bath towel and a beach towel.

* We provide a variety of pillows, but as an AirBnB guest I know what it's like to have a pillow I don't like. If you're a sensitive sleeper, consider bringing a pillow from home (just don't forget it when you leave!)
