Attractive and comfortable one bedroom condo has a warm and inviting appeal. Hardwood floors, full-size couch, queen size bed, modern kitchen, outdoor patio, and entertainment system. Will be sure to please, only 6 blocks from the beach!

The Space

Our living room has an oversized 9-foot couch with chaise and beautiful red oak hardwood floors.

Our condo features a kitchen with modern appliances, including stove, microwave, toaster oven, fridge, dishwasher, marble countertops, and purified water. There is also a marble breakfast counter with stools.

The bedroom has a queen size bed, with a hypoallergenic mattress and bedding supplies. We have a 46" TV in the living room and a 40" TV in the bedroom, both with cable. Each TV has a great sound system and is connected to a PS3 for streaming Netflix, watching Blu-ray DVD's and playing games. There is a guest Apple Mac computer for use, and high-speed wireless internet.

The tiled bathroom has a combination glass-enclosed shower/tub and sizable mirror.

Our all-brick, enclosed patio is bordered by shade trees and includes an outdoor canopied round glass table with seating for four. We also have an outdoor gas grill.

A laundry room with two washers and dryers is available in the complex, and it does not require coins.

I am part of a beautifully-maintained, classic 8 unit building and I am on the ground floor. The front entrance has a manicured lawn that is attractively landscaped with trees, shrubs, and flowers. There is permitted street parking (I provide three permits) and off site underground garage parking space 1.5 blocks away included.

The condo is only 6 blocks from Palisades Park, the beach and its extensive bike path. It is also 5 blocks from Third Street Promenade, two blocks from world-famous Montana avenue, where there are scores of shops, restaurants, and cafes. There is a Whole Foods 2 blocks away, a Pavilions supermarket and YMCA four blocks away. There are four movie theaters within short walking distance.

The beauty of this location is that you really won't need your car for shopping, dining, and necessities.

Our cleaner will come in once a week to maintain the condo, water the plants, etc.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the kitchen, entertainment center, laundry room, wireless internet, guest computer, and outdoor patio.

Interaction with Guests

I will not be present during my guest's stay but will likely be in the neighborhood at my other location, and will always be available to respond to any questions or concerns at any time by phone, text or e-mail.

The Neighborhood

I am in the heart of Santa Monica. This is one of the most convenient vacation rentals you could hope for. It is a short walking distance from everything that you could possibly need.

Getting around

I am less than a block from the Santa Monica Blue Bus, and 2 blocks from the LA Metro Bus, which will take you anywhere in Los Angeles.

  • I helped a friend rent this place, so I actually didn't stay here myself. My communications with Alon were very easy and friendly, he responded to texts and phone calls right away. I got to check out the place prior to my friend staying there, and it was spotless and nice. The location is the best--so close to the beach, Montana Ave (St. Monica's café and boutique packed street) and 3rd street promenade. I will definitely recommend other friends and family members who want to come visit to stay at Alon's.

  • Alon's condo is perfect for either one or two people, a spacious kitchen and living room and all the comforts you'd find at home. The location is prefect for shopping and dining on Montana ave, 3rd Street promenade and of course the closeness to the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we were able to park right outside the condo, but that being said, we parked the car on our arrival and didn't use it again until we departed as Santa Monica is perfect for walking. Alon was very responsive to questions we had both prior and during our visit.

    We've been coming to Santa Monica for 15 years and know the area pretty well, we usually stay in one of the many 4 & 5 star hotels in the area but if the quality of Alon's apartment and his responsive / helpfullness is anything to go by, we will definitely be using Airbnb for future accommodation.

    We recommend staying here on your next trip to Santa Monica, you will not be disappointed.

  • We stayed over the holiday week and everything could't have been prefect including the 75 degree temp. in Santa Monica. Alon's home was everything in photo and much more. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home. The beach,shopping, and restaurants where just a few minutes walk from the condo.

  • This place is even nicer than the photos. Alon was very friendly and helpful. The condo was exceptionally clean and well organized and had everything we needed. It's perfectly located with just a short walk to the beach and main shopping areas. We loved being able to walk everywhere though we did have a car for sightseeing. Alon provided a parking permit which is definitely needed in that area. The outdoor patio is a lovely place to sit and eat outside. There is a grill although we didn't get around to using it. There was a little noise from the neighbors above walking on wood floors but we didn't find this intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay and explore this area.

  • Good communication with Alon before renting. Helpful in keeping us a parking space and taking time to show us around. The apartment is just like the photographs and well equipped. Comfortable place to relax. Ground floor and slightly older block, neat garden. There was some early morning noise from the neighbours above as they got ready for work which might cause a problem if you're a light sleeper. The neighbourhood felt safe and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach and 3rd street.
