On the second floor of pretty 1860's house in the village of Bloomville, Northwestern Catskills.
Aiiry, bright, private room, with queen-size hand-made bed, beautiful light from north and east facing windows. Full bathroom with claw-foot tub and shower.
Wireless satellite internet, Tivoli audio radio/iPod dock.
The room is on the second floor of the renowned café Table on Ten, at the heart of a small Catskills village. The café was recently featured in Martha Stewart Living, The New York Times, Remodelista, designtripper, The Wall Street Journal and Wilder Quarterly. The second floor room inherits Table on Ten's style and aesthetic - clean, simple, open, friendly. By staying with us, you become a de facto member of the amazing community that congregates downstairs; venture down and enjoy the food (gathered from local farms, dairies and producers), join in a workshop, browse around the microshop, or just sit, drink coffee, read or work at your laptop. We offer a discount to our upstairs guests. And you can retreat to your room upstairs whenever you wish. Come down to sample the pizzas from the wood fired oven on Friday and Saturday evenings, participate in special dinners, workshops, other events. Or just lie back and take it easy.
Relaxing or deep-muscle bodywork, private/semi-private yoga and Pilates exercise is also available on site from Victoria Lundell, at reasonable rates, in our own designated room. Bookable through Table on Ten in advance.
Whilst not strictly a bed & breakfast, easy access to Table on Ten during its working hours (Wednesday through Sunday), facilitates you being able to enjoy breakfast and lunch on those days without having to adhere to a predetermined timetable.
No need to stop on the way for wine or groceries. We leave a bottle and glasses in the attic, and we can run you up more from the cafe should you want it.
Great area for hiking, bicycling, visiting antique stores, yard sales, skiing and snowshoeing in winter, horseback riding, the Book Village of Hobart, Bovina, Delhi, Andes, Meredith, Cooperstown and many other undiscovered villages nearby. We can point you to trails, swimming holes, pack you a picnic, recommend farm-stands, other places to eat, walk, ride.
Or you can just stay close and enjoy the life in and around Table on Ten and its friends..
We stayed at the Table on Ten in February and had a great trip.
Inez was a fantastic host, accommodating our room needs and our dietary needs - not an easy feat.
We had a wonderful time! Exactly as the pictures look, gorgeous room and Inez is so nice! We were there on Friday night which is Pizza Night, and the pizza at the restaurant was fantastic.
The only think i would say, is that the room is pretty cold, since the house is a bit old and the windows are thin. However, the bed was very warm and comfy so we were not cold overnight.
Other than that, we enjoyed delicious wine, delicious food, and had a great time!
We had a wonderful time. Lovely room and excellent food. We will surely stay again.
Inez and the rest of Table on Ten were so accommodating! Pizza night was delicious and so was breakfast the next morning in the cafe. The room was very simple of comfy. You cannot go wrong at Table on Ten. Great home base to explore the Catskills and beyond
The space was beautiful, bed was comfy, bathroom was immaculate... flowers, wine, food, linens, everything above and beyond anything else in the area. Thoughtfully designed and brilliantly executed, would recommend to anyone.
Wonderful hosts and the clean room. Beautiful details.
Perfect for weekend gateways.
Pizza night was great, also very good coffee.
Definitely go back again!!
We had a nice stay with Inez. The house is great and there is a lot of privacy. I though the two rooms would be sharing a bathroom but the bathroom is actually private for this bedroom, which was nice.
The cafe is really great! We had an early dinner there from the lunch menu and LOVED everything. Delish delish....my boyfriend is a chef and we were very impressed. Everyone was very nice and helpful as well.
One complaint would be the darkness of the room. It was REALLY dark. They use eco-friendly bulbs that are pretty but really give off no light. Since we were hoping to read and relax the whole time we were there this was a bummer that I wish I had known in advance - I would have brought a head lamp.
We also didn't love the temperature. It was FREEZING. Like literally we had to run to the bathroom and then run back to bed cause it was so cold. But, I have to say I think this is pretty normal for upstate in the winter - everyone keeps their house freezing. And we also never asked to turn the heat up. The bedspread was very warm so we did stay warm in bed - where we stayed for our entire evening.
Inez was a great host!
The room was cozy, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the pizza was amazing! Can't wait to go back this summer!
I stayed for a weekend at Table on Ten with my boyfriend. We had a great time in the Catskills. Inez recommended a couple of good farm stands and antique shopping in the area. Table on Ten went above my expectations in offering all local and wholesome foods! We enjoyed a delicious and relaxing breakfast both days. The first night we stayed, we ordered their wood-fired pizza - a fennel and feta cheese and a chocolate and ricotta pizza! Both were incredible, served with local beers! The atmosphere was kind, warm and inviting. I highly recommend Table on Ten for anyone who wants to get away for the weekend and experience the local culture of upstate New York.
Staying at Table on 10 was amazing! It was the perfect getaway from the city. The room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. We ate every meal during our weekend at Table on 10 and everything was delicious especially the pizza. Inez was so welcoming, friendly and gave great tips for things to explore.
I would highly recommend the room and Table on 10!
