I am so sorry to find after the fact that you had these issues. We try our best to be sure our guests have a comfortable, enjoyable stay and to adress issues as soon as they arise. True, several incidents combined at the beginning of your stay: I relied on the Airbnb calendar as the day you were arriving, rather than the earlier date you had arranged, I was working but came home as quickly as possible, a dog accident surprised us all but was quickly remidied. We use a cleaning service and of course, also work on rooms ourselves. We will follow up on the cleanliness issues. Do remember that a 145 year old house sometimes has imperfections that are not necessarily dirt.
