Loved this apartment. It was a little tricky to find in the dark, but the owner's mother greeted us on the street, and led us into the nice, spacious guesthouse. The apartment is very well decorated. The location is perfect - 2 minute walk through old town to the Stari Most bridge. The beds are a little stiff, but we would recommend this place highly.
Lovely apartment in Mostar. Location was perfect -- very close to the main area and Stari Most and easy walk to restaurants. Four of us fit very comfortably in the apartment (very nice to have two bathrooms!) and enjoyed the patio area for reading and relaxing. We drove to Mostar and were able to park on the adjoining street. The hostess met us right when we arrived, even though we were much later than our planned arrival time, and gave us delicious cake and peach juice. A very nice surprise after our drive. There are also several helpful books and brochures about the area, which we found very helpful.
The home was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. 'Mama' made us a delicious breakfast.
Looks exactly like the pics - beautiful flat with a story in every corner! Great firm beds and good sized rooms. Amazing location (right in the heart of the old town) and we managed to park for free on the perpendicular main street so that was a big plus! As many people have noted here, we also enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Dejan's mother - we arrived late (about 8pm) after having been on the road all day and we utterly exhausted and were greeted with yummy Black Forest cake and juice which was greatly appreciated! Also given that Dejan's parents live in the same courtyard, they were incredibly flexible with our arrival time which is always helpful given that it's hard to estimate driving times on Bosnian roads sometimes!
Had an amazing stay at Dejan's apartment! The apartment was lovely and spacious, with more than enough space for the six of us. I loved the eclectic mix of decor too! Radmila (sp?), our host, met us at the apartment and welcomed us with delicious cakes and juice. The apartment was very clean, and this was exactly the sort of experience that I wanted from staying in a local home with a local host. The apartment was also extremely conveniently located, just a couple of blocks away from Old Town and the Old Bridge, and a short taxi ride to the main bus station. Overall, we very much enjoyed our experience, even going in with high expectations because of all the great reviews! Thank you, Dejan!
We arrived late to Mostar after missing our planned bus from Split, but Dejan was great at getting back to messages quickly so everything was ok. His parents met us at the apartment and showed us round the place.
The apartment was great, we really liked the layout and although the loving area isn't huge, it's comfortable and the bedrooms are a good size.
Dejans parents were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. His mum even brought us round some cake she had made, it was delicious! We were also able to leave our bags with them on our last day before we got the late train to Sarajevo.
I would definitely stay here again, and Dejan was great at getting back to me promptly whenever I had a question.
The flat is beautiful and lovingly cared for. We were met with honey cake and coffee which was most welcome, and the location is perfect, just two minutes from the old bridge. Parking is a bit of an issue: we were directed by locals to the car park around the corner which charges 20 euro per day, so if you can find a safe place to park a bit further away, do it. Still, overall this is a great place to stay, and I would highly recommend it.
