If you are looking for a quiet and serene location, this is for you. No parties and no noise...just respectful, quiet and great neighbours and nature. We do have a limit of 5 guests because of sleeping arrangements. Our only rules are...Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy! And leave the cottage as you found it...neat and tidy for the next folks to enjoy!

House Rules

Respect is all we ask and please leave things as they are found. Being a country septic system, please only place toilet paper in the toilet! and flush as little as possible....and please NO over night guest other than those we are renting to and NO cottage 'parties' or more than 3 day guests. The cottage is in a quiet neighbourhood and we are looking for 'quiet' and 'respectful' cottage renters only.

Thanks for your review- constructive and otherwise Melissa. On the points I found constructive, I thank you and will endeavour to take care of the issues right away! Overwhelmingly folks do find our cottage Rustic and welcoming and I am sorry we disagree on the definition of the word rustic however I am only quoting the many comments by guests who have used that word in a very positive way to describe our wonderful get away as a very calming and relaxing environment. All the best in your vacation and I hope you find other more rustic getaways to your liking in the future. Cheers!

The cabin was “rustic” as advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t spend much time here other than sleeping and the odd meal. But the location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do. 1.5ish hours to Hopewell Rocks, right by the bridge …
