What an awesome first Airbnb experience! The property was more charming than I expected, and our hosts Sherry-Lee & Mr. Winston
Our stay in beautiful Dunedin at Sherry-Lee's lovely home was absolutely wondwerful in every respect. The home is located in walking distance to Historical Downtown Dunedin which has many nice restaurants and shops and a short stroll to the town's docks on Saint Joseph Sound. Another benefit is that Sherry-Lee's home is only a block away from the award winning Pinellas Bike Trail.
Our accommodations were spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Sherry-Lee made our stay even more delightful by providing complimentary snacks and drinks, fresh fruit, coffee, beach towels, guest use of NetFlix, and the list goes on and on. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone, and we look forward to returning again to enjoy Sherry-Lee's hospitality and to spend more time in and around Dunedin.
This lovely home in downtown Dunedin was a perfect place to find some much-needed luxurious downtime during a harried family wedding weekend. Host Sherry-Lee is very inviting and friendly. She also has anticipated any traveler's needs and desires, stocking the guest rooms with sundries, drinks and snacks, all without cluttering up the space.
She left notes on my door when she needed to communicate, and saved me a few times from locking myself out and losing my phone.
The combo of a perfect host, and lovely decor throughout — with a beautiful gourmet kitchen to use (and fresh coffee provided in a.m.) — makes this home somewhere I would love to stay again while visiting the area.
The home, the room were perfect, and Sherry-Lee let us immediatly feel like home, showing us everything we need. The room is very confortable and quiet: you feel like in a old family home, but also like in a five-stars hotel ... next time we'll stay longer ;-)
We arrived late in the day and Sherry-Lee was very welcoming showing us around. Also the next morning she was very hospitable while we had some breakfast and interesting conversation about the transformation of the house.
The house, and our room were very lovely, as was the neighborhood where we later took a walk. Also sitting on the porch in the evening was delightful.
The house is conveniently located near everything, so it's an easy walk to restaurants etc. Also it's easy to park on the street in front.
As always, Sherry-Lee made me feel very welcome ... leaving me items that she knew I would particularly enjoy ... such as bath salts for the wonderful spa bath tub she has in every room. Since my Dunedin days are filled with exercise, this is so very much appreciated.
Yes, the accommodations are exactly as pictured
- and another wonderful quality of this house is its location - so near the charming Dunedin downtown.
We had a wonderful weekend here! The house is beautiful and Sherry-Lee was a warm, friendly host. We ended up arriving later than we planned, and she was very kind and accommodating. She has everything you need and more (coffee, tea, snacks, drinks, toiletries, beach towels, robes) and the house is just a few blocks from lots of great restaurants and breweries!
