The host made us feel welcome by connecting with us multiple time before our arrival. Upon arrival she gave us an excellent description of activities and restaurants in the area as well as a tour of the house and bedrooms. The neighbourhood was very nice and a short walk to the Main Street and the waterfront. There were great trails for running every morning. Sherry and her dog Winston were very accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The welcoming food and toiletry basket as well as the champagne were very much appreciated. The historic home is beautiful and we felt like the home was our own. The swing on the front porch was very relaxing in the early evening. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Sherry-Lee's house is absolutely beautiful and she is a perfect hostess. She even waited up for me when my flight was long delayed and I didn't arrive until after midnight. I was sorry not to have been able to spend more time with her since she seems like a very interesting person. The accommodations were just lovely, with every amenity and convenience. The location is ideal as everything is in walking distance. I loved my brief stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
This is a beautiful historic home in a great location with walkable access to restaurants, the Pinellas bike trail, the Blue Jays ball park, and the waterfront. The house has been beautifully restored with amazing furnishings and shiny floors! And the porch swing. Sherry-Lee is a great hostess and made us feel very welcome. She is very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and entertained us with stories about her many travels.
If you're in need of a place to stay in Dunedin, Sherry-Lee's is the only place you need to know about! During our 4 night stay Sherry-Lee made us feel right at home with special touches like our own personal snack basket and a fully stocked mini fridge in our room. We also appreciated the fruits, muffins, and eggs available to guests in the fridge on the main level. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the wrap-around porch. The location is perfect with downtown Dunedin in walking distance and beautiful beaches a short car ride away. While most of our time was spent at the beach or eating out in downtown Dunedin, we did have a chance to take a walk around Sherry-Lee's neighborhood, which was charming. Overall it was an amazing trip! If we're ever in Dunedin again, we'll be staying with Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston!
There is no better place to be than staying with Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston! Our last visit, which is one of many we have taken, was just as great in this most beautiful home! You will never regret the decision to spend one or one of many days with Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston! We cannot wait for the opportunity to return to what we now consider our home away from home!
Could not have been happier with my stay at Historic home in Dunedin. The host Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston were an absolute pleasure and made me feel exceptionally welcome. The house itself is beautifully detailed and has some lovely guest additions that were totally unexpected. As someone who spends far too much time on the road traveling this was a most delightful alternative to the mundane hotels one would normally be forced to experience. Will definitely return in the future.
I was hesitant about staying in someone's home, but this was amazing. Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston (the house dog) were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We put many miles on the bicycles as this is a perfect town for biking. There are many little restaurants , bars, ice cream shops, etc. that you could get to by bike or walking. The home was only a couple of blocks from the water front. The home was very beautiful and clean. I hope I can return and stay a little longer. Dunedin is a beautiful little town and Sherry-Lee has the perfect place to enjoy it from.
