We had a wonderful weekend here! The house is beautiful and Sherry-Lee was a warm, friendly host. We ended up arriving later than we planned, and she was very kind and accommodating. She has everything you need and more (coffee, tea, snacks, drinks, toiletries, beach towels, robes) and the house is just a few blocks from lots of great restaurants and breweries!
This was our first Airbnb experience and what a way to start. Sherry-Lee was an epic hostess. The house was gorgeous, better than the description and pictures. I appreciated her hands-off style. It was a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Dunedin, comfortable bed, and spacious and very clean accommodations. There were so many personal touches - coffee and creamer, snacks, toiletries provided, laundry facilities, wi-fi. I'm sure there are more I'm leaving out. I felt secure, we were given keys and the house was always locked up. Thank you for a great stay Sherry-Lee. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!
Sherry-Lee is despite her full time job a perfect host! When we arrived (after some busy days at NYC), she welcomed us with a full tour through her little paradise! Starting with endearingly entering rules to outsmart lovely Mr. Winston, to a dream well equipped kitchen (if you like to cook) and of course the allover perfect and tastefully decorated historical home. Our room was even more than described and expected, since she offered us to switch to the king size bedroom. What we greatly appreciated!
The often mentioned free snacks (quoting Susi when she detected them: "these are ALL for US???") and the bathroom goods (whatever you need, it's in the basket: sunscreen, aloe, toothpaste, name it) rounded up the all over impression, that someone here (Sherry-Lee) really thinks of everything!
The location was just as great, since there are a dozen options to eat out, go for drinks or shop around whit in walking distance.
Not to forget Sherry-Lees recommendations in room, printed out with addresses and descriptions how to get there. If you are missing something, just ask her, she knows much more!
We are strongly recommending you to come here if you are looking for a time out, relaxed and down to earth place and will be back for sure!
The host made us feel welcome by connecting with us multiple time before our arrival. Upon arrival she gave us an excellent description of activities and restaurants in the area as well as a tour of the house and bedrooms. The neighbourhood was very nice and a short walk to the Main Street and the waterfront. There were great trails for running every morning. Sherry and her dog Winston were very accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The welcoming food and toiletry basket as well as the champagne were very much appreciated. The historic home is beautiful and we felt like the home was our own. The swing on the front porch was very relaxing in the early evening. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Sherry-Lee's house is absolutely beautiful and she is a perfect hostess. She even waited up for me when my flight was long delayed and I didn't arrive until after midnight. I was sorry not to have been able to spend more time with her since she seems like a very interesting person. The accommodations were just lovely, with every amenity and convenience. The location is ideal as everything is in walking distance. I loved my brief stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
This is a beautiful historic home in a great location with walkable access to restaurants, the Pinellas bike trail, the Blue Jays ball park, and the waterfront. The house has been beautifully restored with amazing furnishings and shiny floors! And the porch swing. Sherry-Lee is a great hostess and made us feel very welcome. She is very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and entertained us with stories about her many travels.
If you're in need of a place to stay in Dunedin, Sherry-Lee's is the only place you need to know about! During our 4 night stay Sherry-Lee made us feel right at home with special touches like our own personal snack basket and a fully stocked mini fridge in our room. We also appreciated the fruits, muffins, and eggs available to guests in the fridge on the main level. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the wrap-around porch. The location is perfect with downtown Dunedin in walking distance and beautiful beaches a short car ride away. While most of our time was spent at the beach or eating out in downtown Dunedin, we did have a chance to take a walk around Sherry-Lee's neighborhood, which was charming. Overall it was an amazing trip! If we're ever in Dunedin again, we'll be staying with Sherry-Lee and Mr. Winston!
